Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., said Wednesday that if Democrats took control of the Senate following November’s midterm elections, she would be in favor of reopening an investigation into the sexual misconduct allegations levelled against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
“I’d be in favor of opening an investigation into the allegations,” Feinstein, the ranking minority member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said during a debate in San Francisco with her challenger, state Sen. Kevin de León. A fellow Democrat, de León emerged from California’s hectic jungle primary system to challenge one of the Senate’s longest tenured members for her seat.
Feinstein has come under fire from both Republicans and her fellow Democrats since the Kavanaugh confirmation after it was revealed that one of Kavanaugh’s accusers, Christine Blasey Ford, had reached out to the lawmaker with her allegations and asked that they remain confidential.

In more simpler terms, the CA Senate seat election is over, it has been over for some weeks or months ago.
She’s posturing.
She knows the dems won’t take the Senate.

It’s impossible to NOT see the flagrant political intent of such a statement...reopen an ‘investigation’ with a predetermined outcome, despite it being a STATE offense, past the statute of limitations, and which supposedly happened while both were minors.

Oh, I think she should be very careful. Graham, Grassley, McConnell, etc., will have had these few weeks leading up to the election to go deep into Ford’s stories and lies. Once the GOP adds more Senators to their side, things could (and will, I hope) get quite ugly for Dianne and cohorts. She needs to shut her mouth; some people never learn.
Yep...She has about the same chance as your request, I suspect she may be suffering the onset of dementia.
And I’m in favor of an investigation into Feinstein ‘s and her office’s handling of that Ford letter and why she didn’t bring it before the committee in a timely fashion, why she didn’t maintain the confidentially theoretically requested by Ford, why her office referred Ford to the attorneys who managed her throughout this episode. Those are questions that need to be answered and Feinstein should be censured.
How about an investigation of that Chinese spy operating on Fineswine’s staff for 20 years?
difi KNOWS that they won’t every do that... easy to bluff... when you know the outcome.
