Martha McSally accuses Kyrsten Sinema of supporting ‘treason’ in fiery Arizona Senate debate

Republican Martha McSally accused Democrat Kyrsten Sinema of saying “it was OK to commit treason” in a fiery Arizona Senate debate on Monday, in response to Sinema once telling a radio host she didn’t care if someone wanted to join the Taliban.

McSally was referring to a 2003 interview on a local Arizona radio station, where Sinema told the host she didn’t object to individuals going abroad and fighting for the Islamic fundamentalist group.

“As an individual, if I want to go fight in the Taliban army, I go over there, and I’m fighting for the Taliban, I’m saying that’s a personal decision,” host and activist Ernest Hancock told Sinema, who was then a Green Party activist.

“Fine. I don’t care if you go and do that, go ahead,” she replied, according to the audio recording obtained by Fox News. It was one of a number of controversial statements that recently resurfaced from Sinema.

““New Flake” McSally comes across as desperate here.”

Really? She’s running against an extreme nut who gets a free pass from the media, and she’s “desperate” for trying to get the truth out?

I believe that is what is supposed to happen. But, in reality today, the chances of that happening if one fights for a Communist or muslim cause, the chances of that happening are from .000000000000001 to zero. Or from slim to none.

The desperation may be from the polling she has available to her.

Well, on the face of it, I agree: it’s a personal decision, kind of like the guys that douse gasoline over themselves and decide to take up smoking.

Good luck to them fighting for the Taliban with a couple of bullets in vital places...

Switch roles. Accuse conservatives of doing the same thing. When they bite, then let them know you tricked them.

Taliban Kills Two U.S. Soldiers in Heavily Fortified Afghan Base

Edwin Mora
Nov 14, 2016

Taliban jihadists have killed two more U.S. Army soldiers this month and two American contractors in an attack that has been described as unprecedented given that it occurred inside the heavily fortified Bagram Airfield in northern Afghanistan, America’s largest military facility in the country.

Although jihadists have targeted Bagram in the past, Saturday’s attack marks the first time a suicide bomber made it inside.

The Pentagon has identified the two U.S. soldiers as Army Sgt. John W. Perry, 30, of Stockton, CA, and Pfc. Tyler R. Iubelt, 20, of Tamaroa, IL, adding that they were killed by an improvised explosive device (IED). ...”

More US troops die in Afghanistan

“Yesterday (Saturday) was a very tough day for Isaf as we lost more brave soldiers who were striving to provide security for the Afghan population,” an Isaf statement said on Sunday.

The incidents come after July saw the highest monthly death toll for foreign troops since 2001.

There were 43 Americans among the 74 killed.

The BBC’s David Loyn in Kabul says the upwards trend is due to an increase in the number of foreign forces moving around and taking the fight to the Taliban.

It also shows how the Taliban have developed their tactics to continue to inflict damage even while they often avoid direct exchanges of gunfire, he says.

There are altogether currently more than 100,000 US-led troops in Afghanistan fighting a growing Taliban insurgency. ...”

Amazes me how every single time, they think they are the tolerant ones. If they were, they would accept that Trump is POTUS and act like grown-ups but they don’t and won’t.

Soros and his ilk have been spending a fortune on Sinema’s candidacy. Probably in the end a bad investment, but money bought her a big summer lead while the Republicans were squabbling.

The moderator, local PBS host Liberal Ted Simon, had several “gotcha” questions for McSally and none for Sinema, even though there are numerous past statements of hers that are horrific. He might as well have been wearing a “Sinema for Senate” T-Shirt.

Yes, you’re right. She ‘only’ said she agreed with it.

“Sinema, a Democrat running for a U.S. Senate seat against GOP Rep. Martha McSally of Arizona, made the comments during a radio interview in February 2003 with libertarian activist Ernest Hancock.

“As an individual, if I want to go fight in the Taliban army, I go over there and I’m fighting for the Taliban. I’m saying that’s a personal decision,” Hancock said in the interview, which was first reported by CNN Friday.

“Fine,” Sinema responded. “I don’t care if you want to do that, go ahead.”

McSally really couldn’t do much until she won the Primary in late August. It was a tight race against Ward. Sinema was assured she would win the Dem side of the Primary so started her ads very early.....and too many people have bought into her lies. I think we need to petition the Republican Party and the State of Arizona to move our Primary to an earlier time. The timing gave Sinema a HUGE advantage before the Primary even occurred.

In my opinion, advocating for illegal aliens to have impunity to ignore ALL of our laws is treason.

My opinion as well
