Christine Braley Ford is already pushing for removal of the one-week time limit senators agreed to Friday on a new FBI investigation of her allegation that Judge Brett Kavanaugh sexually molested her 36 years ago at a high school party.
Ford “welcomes this step in the process,” her attorney, Debra Katz, said in a statement. Katz added that Ford “no artificial limits as to time or scope should be imposed on this investigation.”
If Ford refuses to change her position, it could blow up an informal deal worked out between Republicans and Democrats on the Senate Committee on the Judiciary that allowed the Kavanaugh nomination to go forward while also allowing further investigation by the FBI of his background.
The crap runs through the FBI top to bottom - tell me how many of your straight shooter FEEBS have exposed corruption within their workplace?

The Left is playing this so well, I bet many low into voters believe the hearing is a criminal proceeding. That this is somehow about ‘justice’.

I did not know that Ford was in control of this entire situation — the Senate, the FBI, the Federal government.
She will say she isn’t available next week. Or they will pay another person who is now important to the investigation and they won’t be available until 3 weeks from now.
They just wanted to see his calendars before the hearing so they can manufacture their next story. Movie theater groping or beach incidents. This is so transparent because they wanted him to testify first. Can you say set up!
What deal would that be?
Did the Democrats agree to vote for Kavanagh after this farce is over?
There is no “deal”.
That decision will be by Director Wray based on what he has in one week or less.
It will include facts currently in his existing files

I don’t see how they can find new information. A vaginal swab for DNA shouldn’t provide any evidence from 36 years ago.
There are no charges to pursue. The federal government has no jurisdiction. The local police can’t do anything because the statute of limitations ran out 35 years ago.
If she refuses to be interviewed by the FBI, they should use her sworn testimony in front of the committee on Thursday wilh all her lies, childish voice and pretty little girl actions and use that. It certainly didn’t impress anyone with a brain.
For a nut she is achieving her ends rather well.
Let’s not call any of these decisions or positions on procedures, etc., Ford’s. They are those of her attorneys’ and her other handlers.

I believe liar Batty Ford read Judge’s book and used detail of his working at
Safeway, which he talks about in the book, to bolster her lies. Put her back under
oath and ask her if she ever read Judge’s book. She did, it’s obvious.
Yea, they became even more corrupt to show they weren’t part of the old J. Edgar Hoover team.
Flake was probably envious of Murkowski and Collins getting so much attention that he decided to pre-empt them.
Her poor husband. He needs to get the hell out. On the way out the door bomb her testimony with some facts.
