The Senate Judiciary Committee hears testimony from Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh and Professor Christine Blasey Ford about her allegations that Judge Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her while the two were teenagers.
It's called getting choked up, and it happens when you're talking with great emotion, about people and things that are close to your heart. Sorry if you've never experienced that.
This speech is not for flake, Murkowski and Collins. It is for all of America and all of HUMANITY!

I don’t blame this man one bit for being emotional. This man is fighting for his and his families lives. That is not hyperbole.
My heart goes out to him. I sit here at work crying and praying for him. I hate the Ford woman and the democrats who are all involved. I can’t stand ANY democrat right now! God bless Judge Kavanaugh and his family. I pray that the republicans will all vote for him - and I hope some of the democrats will have a conscience will vote for him. HE IS INNOCENT!!!

I’m listening on iHeart radio - and the pauses, gasping, etc. show the absolute emotional content in his testimony. It’s a sign of an absolutely upstanding man who is totally ticked off - with a huge valid reason for it.
Especially since this is the only way that will allowed to him in terms of redress.
These people will never be called to account for what they’ve done to him, his wife, his kids.
If he can make peace with that, and I hope he can, he’s a far better person of faith than I am.
In the early part of his speech he said someone called him “evil”.
