The prosecutor also indicted Ford’s handlers in exposing her to this process rather than the standard way. I think she made a powerful case for Ford being a pawn of the left.

That doesn't matter at all if you don't directly undermine the core claim of assault, which was not done. Catching her being misleading about flying isn't how you win the day.
