The Senate Judiciary Committee hears testimony from Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh and Professor Christine Blasey Ford about her allegations that Judge Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her while the two were teenagers.

It will be a disaster unless Kavanaugh gets pissed off he should start of by saying two men admitted they did this to this woman so I feel bad for her but for her attorneys to coach her into creating a false memory of me being the perp is beyond the pale, etc, etc,
What I don’t understand is: why does she want to strike up a conversation in the grocery store with one of her alleged attacker if she is so traumatized?

I'd say close to disaster at this point. I'm not sure what is gained by the investigative line of questioning that the GOP is pursuing. I think it actually plays into the Dems message of let the FBI do the investigation, not your for-hire investigator in 5 min chunks.
Also, totally boring compared to Hill/Thomas hearings.

That’s what I was claiming yesterday. By EVERY male on the Republican side deferring to the “sweet, kind, understanding” female to question this bitch, they’re ADMITTING that they’re unable to fairly do so BECAUSE they’re male - and I am EXTREMELY offended by this.
I think the Pubbies have the votes to confirm Kavanaugh and that’s why they’re not grinding up Ford like hamburger. What would be the point? The witness is her own worst enemy. Kavanaugh will be confirmed. And Pubbies won’t look like meanies.

Who goes to a party or gathering at a house and does not know who it belongs to? That is just not credible.
Not if the whole incident was AT HER HOUSE. She probably invited people over, but not Judge Kavanaugh. Or he was a no show and she is still mad at him.
They know that. Son #2 very briefly dated a girl who was telling me how "awesome" Old Hill was (This was over 15 years ago.) just looked at him and rolled my eyes. They broke up within a few days!

What teenage girl goes to a house gathering without a friend while only knowing 2 people there? Even if she went to see Judge, normally a 15 year old girl would take a friend.
The dems don’t want Mitchell to get anywhere. This is all planned. First, one interrupts then passes the ball to the second interrupter, then passes it to the next to interrupt. Bet they have earpieces with someone orchestrating the play.
Mitchell is methodically going through a list of questions. You can see her checking them off. She knows where she is headed and is making her way there.
The kind, compassionate demeanor she exhibits towards Ford is to lower Ford’s defenses and become more talkative, offering up additional info.

Agreed. Unless the form of Republican questioning is changed and changed quickly, Kavanaugh is going to have to go it alone and save himself. (Gee, I wonder what the President thinks about this ...)
