btw: Isn’t that an odd way to put it? No direct accusation of assailant trying to kill her, but planting the image just the same. Now, here’s the real assailant admitting his guilt - will she still say the same?

There is no statute of limitatons in Maryland for sex crimes. With that said, no prosecutor would take the case because it’s so flimsy. They have more things to do than try and prosecute he said/she said cases from a high school party 37 years ago.

And what about the fact that the people that she says were there said the events never happened? This completely contradicts the 4 corroborating witnesses for Kavanaugh ... it opens up the arena to arguments like ... "well this man that came forward tells us the events DID happen, we believe him and her now ... but there was NOT a case of mistaken identity because she is SURE it was Kavanaugh."
This is not what you think it is ... this is not the silver bullet ... its a poison pill in disguise ... and this will definitely lead to an investigation (since he has more details of the events) that will take months if not years.
Well.. it'll be directed not at Kavanaugh, but at him. As for our side acknowledging memories, leave that to the experts... the key here is Ford wanted everyone to believe it was Kavanaugh... and it wasn't.
This makes a mockery of the entire dem strategy even if it is true.

It has struck me as very odd that Garrett has been so quiet after being named. Not one peep. And no one in the media tried to track him down? Odd as hell.
After reading the Twitter thread on this, it is easy to believe we are headed to a civil war; you see two sides living in two distinctly different realities. In one, no one “they like” is guilty, until proven so, and anyone “they” don’t like is guilty until proven innocent; and in the other everyone is innocent until proven guilty but a mere allegation does not make someone a PROVEN “plaintiff” as a mere allegation proves nothing.
The Dims want innocent and guilty turned upside down. They want Ms Ford depicted as clean and virtuous and putting all the onus on Mr Kavanagugh to prove his innocence, which is the opposite of what is suppose to be the American standard of justice.
You’ll note the many pro-Ford twitter reference to her polygraph test, taking it on face value as meaningful and understanding not at all that that test was bogus and not conducted by any court, FBI or DOJ accepted standard for a polygraph exam. A mere two questions about a pre-written statement do not a polygraph test make, if it must meet court, FBI or DOJ standards. A mere two questions do not create a baseline from a battery of questions with which to judge the only two questions she was aaked.
Narrative demands Kavanaugh be smeared. All hail the Narrative. Kavanaugh and the Koch Brothers paid him to take the heat.
Statute of Limitations is long gone, and he’s not up for nomination to anything. But he’s going to get harassed by snowflakes at restaurants.
