A tentative agreement for a Thursday hearing with Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford has been reached, a source with knowledge of the discussions told Fox News.

Thank you.

Having watched “House Of Cards”, both the British and Netflix series, I don’t doubt that very serious “convincing” is going on right now.
Great analysis, LS.
Thank you for sharing and it all makes sense.
I think Flake is like a spoiled child who demands attention and wishes to stand out before he is out of the spotlight. It’s as if he is channeling McCain from beyond the grave.
You - a troll? A punk? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thats rich, especially coming from a newbie rabble rouser.
“Cry ‘Havoc!’, and let slip the Viking Kitties!
Demonrats won nothing. The longer this story is played out the more it is falling apart. Every day, there’s another lie exposed. If the vote had been held last week, we wouldn’t have have had all 4 witnesses denying the whole thing. By Thursday, the fence sitters will vote to confirm Kavanaugh.
PJ, Judge and Leland, who have no dogs in this, have denied it. Hey, Sheldon, are you saying they’re offering blanket denials, too? Libel much?
I hope you're right, but when have Republicans EVER started an investigation into a Democrat?
What happens if Feinstein loses her reelection? It's likely that Republicans will just let it go, pretending that no real damage to our institutions were perpetrated by senior Democrats in leadership positions.
They will never campaign in the future on Democrat abuses once they gain office. They will never call out the others who conspired with Feinstein against the orderly operation of the Senate or the political assassination of Brett Kavanaugh.
It's simply not in their nature.

Thanks for the heads up.
You know Larry that I suggested to you (privately) months ago that your intelligent and thoughtful observations would be more understandable if YOU WOULD BLOW OFF YOUR CHOSEN "NICKNAMES".
You lose a great percentage of your "audience" by using your silly nicknames.
After all, there are many reading your remarks who are not familiar with those silly (yet sometimes humorous) nicknames.
Drop them for important messages, which I assume you think this post is.
Your nicknames are not required or helpful here for beneficial effect.
Sorry the truth..... from a fan and most likely always a fan.
Grassley rolled the demonrats. If it weren't for the delays, we wouldn't have so many holes in her story. We wouldn't have the denials from the famous four. We wouldn't have the skanky year book. We wouldn't have the 54 sex encounters - whether true or not, it's out there. We wouldn't have the 4th boy (boys stick together) is now a girl (bam! carries the female vote). Without Grassley playing the "oh so concerned with her being heard" card, Trump hating Ford, Fineswine, the pearl clutching demonrats, CNN etc. (tee hee - scrambling this morning backing away from Ford), and the wacky support sisters/#MeToo crowd all looking like fools today.
I agree with this 100%. I'll add one more observation here:
Look at what has happened over the last 24 hours with: (1) the emergence of this fourth non-corroborating "corroborating witness," and (2) the addition of former Federal prosecutor and DOJ Inspector General Michael Bromwich to Ford's legal team.
I believe Christine Ford is now at the point where her personal interests in all potential criminal and legal matters are in conflict with the interests of Dianne Feinstein, the Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee, and the Democrat Party itself.
That's not the road you want anyone to take.
You want the triggering event here to be a legal action brought against one or more parties (think Ford and Feinstein in particular -- and maybe even the Washington Post) by someone who has NO political stake in the matter.
Here's my guess as to the best approach. Look at the people whose names weren't even known a week ago, and who now have legitimate grounds for defamation claims against these @ssholes ... like the people other than Kavanaugh who were named in Ford's accusation (Mark Judge, for example).

..... hmmm
Come Thursday, Kavanaugh will look like a saint thanks to FinkStink.
Interesting. It is so obvious that this is a political scam as they lose someone they ad someone. They are going to get overwhelmed and put away. #4 will be going away with the others.
Right on. We were just talking about this at our tailgate about an hour ago.

Always pleased when LS weighs in.
He knows whereof he speaks!
The nicknames serve several purposes, one of which is to act as a cover for me on Twitter algorhythms.
So far, they have worked. I have not been banned even for 24 hours in two years.
FinkStink will not lose. No there will be no investigation. But I think there is more at play here.
