A jury has ordered a female blogger to pay an Army colonel she accused of rape a total of $8.4million in damages.

Susan Shannon, 52, who now lives in Everett, Washington, first alleged that she was sexually assaulted by Army Colonel David 'Wil' Riggins in 1986, while they were both cadets, on her blog in 2013.

She said she waited three decades to come forward about her experience because of the army's 'code of silence'.

Unfortunately there is a lot of rape at Annapolis. Maybe it is prevalent at the other academies but I don’t have knowledge of that.

I would believe this woman - any day - over the California gal who went to a house party with four guys and who claimed to have slept with 57 boys in high school.

The sad things is, there are women now and in the future who will never ever come forward when they are raped because this liar is ruining it for them.

How about throwing her lying ass in PRISON! When a woman makes a false allegation of rape she needs to be thrown behind bars, period!

The problem is she's not lying, or so her lawyer will argue. She truly and sincerely believed it was Kavanaugh. It was not until after the Senate vote was over that she recalled the truth underlying what she thought was a recovered repressed memory - that it was voluntary and with hundreds of guys, but none of them were Kavanaugh.
