Grassley needs to accept and to announce that this is not the Senate Judiciary Committee’s problem. That they are on a timeline and will stick to it.

And you can’t successfully negotiate with a crazy person. Donald Trump knows that.

Thanks for the post but.........NOTHING has changed.

Right - they accepted nothing. She did not agree to testify. This is the same stuff they were saying before - they want to testify on their terms, on Thursday, attacking the committee, etc. No progress whatsoever occurred.
To: texanyankee
No. She had too much time to MAKE UP a story. Grassley, what have you done?

She didnt actually accept and agree to testify.
She agreed to have her lawyer negotiate terms and may still back out if not satisfied.
Press is misreporting it.
To: Brilliant
where are you seeing them say this?
there has only been a poll and it’s not legit.
They’re crazy if they think most Americans support people being accused without evidence.
I doubt it’s motivating GOP voters though. The GOP look weak as hell and we’re the majority.

How did she get to Hawaii? What other trips overseas and around the US has she been on in recent years?

Exactly. I dont see how having their base completely frustrated and pissed off because if their failure to effectively wield their Senate majority helps them come Election Day. Why does the GOP always manage to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory?

There’s no way she testifies next week.
That’s too soon to lose 50 pounds and have the face lift heal.

Part of me thinks there has been enough stalling now to hurt the democrats in the mid-terms. They’re overplaying their hand. A few days I was frustrated with our side giving into them while now I’m starting to enjoy it (politically).
Another part of me sees this stalling going on through even her testimony. Stall every step of the way. In fact, between now and then she may not agree to show until Friday Sept 28th (instead of thursday) and the whole day friday will be so much stalling that her actual testimony wont actually begin until monday Oct 1 or tuesday october 2nd. With all the stalling and negotiating during her time of testimony she’ll be a TV star until Friday Oct 5th and the Judge will not even be able to answer her accusations until atleast Monday October 8th. The democrats will then try to get the vote delayed until after the midterm and they will force a rule that while in recess the President will not be able to appoint the judge.

I am just the average schmuck. I don’t blame the dems at all. I blame virtually all of the republicans. As I posted before, wait until the next run of polls come out about a generic ballot. Republicans will be slaughtered and they are too dumb to see it.
