I think Robert Mueller is the main source for that NYT Rosenstein story today.

The senate will squeak by.
The Democrats will try to take Trump out in December/January.
Bernie Sanders will be made Tsar of the new Democrat Party.
The Republicans will pick up 4 Senate seats but will be unable to repeal Obamacare unless they can win the dog catcher races in the Northeastern states in the upcoming off year elections.
The House will lose some seats to the Socialists but only in blue states. The gains will not be meaningful as they will be too new to be in any choice Democrat committee spots. The RINO’s will cower in fear as a result.
Kavanaugh will be seated in October but will prove to be a Roberts clone, voting inconsistently and taking on the Maverick mantle.
There will be Antifa riots in 1/2 of the liberal cities prompting “black flight” to the burbs.
Climate change will result in the snowiest winter ever East of the Rockies.
The Browns will win the Superbowl and the James Comey miniseries will win 17 Emmy’s
Q will be revealed to be Uh, never mind, I’ve said too much!
Gain 6 in the Senate, lose 6 in the House (mostly due to Pennsylvania Supreme Court gerrymander).

Keep Senate and House. After election, Trump has a discussion with Sessions and Wray. Clean house by end of week or resign by close of business today.
Mueller ends investigation and his final report gets classified due to national security concerns. Mueller is warned that if document goes public, he goes to prison for life.
Indictments for Hillary/Huma/Weiner are issued for having classified information on a private server. The company that maintained the server is raided in the middle of the night and the CEO gets the Manafort treatment.
Mueller is told that Brennan and Clapper are going to prison and Strozk and Page are also going to be indicted along with the Ohr’s and the Pakistani’s who worked for DWS. Mueller is asked who is more important to him, Obama or Comey. Mueller drives the bus over Comey and Comey is indicted.
Finally, the Pakistanis die mysteriously prior to testifying.
Oh, and the Jets win the Superbowl.
Wall will not be built. Mexico will not pay for it. Obamacare will not be repealed. Hillary will not be locked up.

This whole thing is all about the next nominee, so they can say, “See, we let you have Kavanaugh, now you have to give us what we want this time.”
The House is more difficult. Real Clear Politics currently has it 206-189 Democrats with 40 "toss up" seats (38 of those currently held by GOP). GOP will need to win 29 of 40 toss up races. I think they fall just short, with a 5-7 seat Dem majority. If Republican intensity picks up, they could hold the House by a thin margin.
It’s hard to see how people are going to elect Dems when:
1) They are proving every day, and in every way, how beyond-insane they have become.
2) The economy under Trump is performing the best it has in the past thirty years.
If people go ahead and put Dems in charge anyway then we’ve become too STOOOOOPID to survive as a country.

i hope no one gives in to the Dems demands. That’s not what i voted for!
I’m not really up on predictions but Rosenstien and Sessions will be asked to go on the road with Trump and if they refuse he will fire them. Rosenstien will refuse because there are no hands for him to shake on the road and, to get back at Trump, will demand that he keep his security clearance or he will be hired by MSNBC as another talking head to badmouth the President. Sessions says he would go on the road, but has to pack his guitar first and practice his Willie Nelson impression and the line out of “Cool Hand Luke” where he says, “What we have here is a failure to communicate.” The House & Senate might be burnt down by an antifa protester with a bazooka... in which case the elections will have to be withheld till next year when the Mueller Investigation finally wraps up. Kavanagh will be sworn in and Ford will claim she got pregnant, but had to abort the baby because the psychotic meds she’s taking would have had a bad effect on the kid. Anyway, there will be more hand wringing and Handmaiden’s Tails as fashion proclaims the mini shirt look to the maidens. Dresses will be so short that... well, things will be seen.
The republicans will lose the house. The Senate will be tied.
Trump turns significantly to the center. And by the time he is done he will be less popular than Bush Jr here on FR.
This is going to get very nasty to the point of people getting shot. Chicago ‘68 will appear tame.
