Ford's Accusation against Kavanaugh Is Not Credible; Here are at least seven reasons why

The Dems and the media said Bill Clinton's sexual misconduct, including the rape of Juanita Broaddrick, was irrelevant to Clinton serving as president. They also said Teddy Kennedy's driving his car into the pond drunk at Chappaquiddick, leaving Mary Jo Kopechne to die, while he swam away and waited twelve hours to report to the police, was irrelevant to him serving as senator and running for the presidency.

Now the Dems and the media say any claim of sexual misconduct, no matter how remote and unreliable, is enough to destroy the life of Brett Kavanaugh because they are afraid he will cast a vote to overrule Roe v. Wade.

Christine Blasey Ford sent a letter dated July 30, 2018 to Dianne Feinstein stating that in the early 1980s, she was at a "gathering" at a home in suburban Maryland with four others. Brett Kavanaugh and Mark Judge, both drunk, forced her into a room and locked the door, and Kavanaugh then got on top of her. Judge also "periodically" jumped on top of both. Kavanaugh put a hand over her mouth and she believed he would "inadvertently" kill her. At one point, Judge jumped on both again, and she took this "opportune" moment to run outside and go home.

Ford reported this incident to her "local government representative" on July 6, 2018.

Ford wrote to Feinstein to provide "relevant information regarding the current nominee" to the Supreme Court.

It is important to read the actual letter to see how unreliable it is:

Got into a few tickle fights. I must be a monster

Well, I've seen people tickled so hard they laugh uncontrollably and "gasp" for breath, perhaps fearing for their lives. You monster you.

This only gets the prize for Most Obvious Fake Accusation Ever if a forged signature can be added to a yearbook and lacrosse players can be maligned.

She is a “research psychologist,” not a “clinical psychologist.”

The “local” Democrat and Feinstein should have immediately referred this to the FBI for investigation.

Is Feinstein guilty of Obstruction of Justice for failing to report this crime to the authorities at the time she became aware of it?

Did she think the allegations were not credible at the time? If so, why does she think they are now?

She withheld information in order to release it later, for political gain. Is this not a crime?

RE: If so, why does she think they are now?

She does not. It’s a stalling tactic. Anyone who does not see it or what it is is willfully blind.

The story, which could be based on some hazy memory, or could be an outright fabrication, has most certainly been embellished in order to be far more salatious, attractive to the #MeToo -ers, and to be far more damaging to Kavanaugh.

My husband (lawyer) pointed out that she’s actually alleging kidnapping here as well as attempted rape and murder, all in this nice hazy package where all other details are murky an irrefutable. No location, no date, 1 witness whose book this may in fact be based on.

The fact is, a makeout session gone bad just didn’t seem bad enough - so the rest of this crap was scripted up. Including:

1- a “locked” door
2- a kidnapping (forcing her into room against will)
3- possibility of “inadvertant” murder
4- the assumption of intended rape, when in fact many 15 years olds would have assumed no such thing, having never even been to 2nd base with a boy

Back in 1982, Ted Bundy was still in the news a lot. Rather than thinking “I can’t tell anybody, I don’t look like a rape/kidnap/potential murder victim” - a girl would have been thinking about Ted Bundy’s victims, and how to prevent other girls from being the next one to be victimized by this terrorizing duo of Judge & Kavanaugh.

She outs herself with her own ridiculous story, which doesn’t ring true with anything I experienced as a teenage girl 3 years behind her in the 80s.

Girls hanging out at “gatherings” like that didn’t need to be coerced into bedrooms or make out sessions with the captain of the basketball team - they were more than willing, or they wouldn’t be there. And group assaults like that are not common at all - I’m sure there are stats about that. A make out session gone bad is about the best a person can come up with to find parts of this believable - but then you lose your kidnapping and intent to rape, which is just what makes her tale so supposedly “compelling”.

She probably wasn’t supposed to be at the party. The other girl took her there and back.

But then, wouldn’t she have told the other girl on the way back what had happened?

Even if she didn’t want to tell her parents or teh authorities (due to fear that she’d get in trouble), why wouldn’t she tell someone, a girlfriend, a cousin, somebody? Taht’s what women do, even if they don’t want to call teh authorities. Isn’t it?

Well said.

IOW, we're looking at this from the wrong perspective, our perspective, which never seems to work, instead of from the democRATS' perspective, which usually serves their purpose.

And we lose, even though we are right or correct in our analysis of these type situations.

While the democRATS don't care about being right, just effective.

You're on to something here. Great comment.

Also—why did she scrub her social media posts? Most likely there was material there which would have disproven her current allegations. But Facebook & other companies won’t retrieve the deleted material because that would help Kavanaugh.

Yes..why scrub social media if nothing to hide. Why is it because she is female .. her pathetically ridiculous story can’t be questioned? We have too many Congress members falling all over themselves trying to look fair..looking patently foolish. Judge Judy..we need you in Congress!

Well she didn't scrub everything. All the 89 or so articles she's co-authored or done research on can be found using Google Scholar and searching Christine Blasey. Quite a few of them deal with depression. One interesting one from 1996 entitled "What doesn’t kill us…" deals with childhood trauma while another deals with alcoholism and depression.

At the top of the result page is her verified email as paloalto.edu and her home page comes up as http://stanford.edu/~blasey. That link comes up as "Page not found" but if you delete the "~" and it takes you to her Stanford page. I couldn't get it to completely load but at least it wasn't "not found".

Her choice of topics makes me wonder if some of the rumors floating around about her being promiscuous and drinking too much might have a ring of truth.
