The Dems and the media said Bill Clinton's sexual misconduct, including the rape of Juanita Broaddrick, was irrelevant to Clinton serving as president. They also said Teddy Kennedy's driving his car into the pond drunk at Chappaquiddick, leaving Mary Jo Kopechne to die, while he swam away and waited twelve hours to report to the police, was irrelevant to him serving as senator and running for the presidency.
Now the Dems and the media say any claim of sexual misconduct, no matter how remote and unreliable, is enough to destroy the life of Brett Kavanaugh because they are afraid he will cast a vote to overrule Roe v. Wade.
Christine Blasey Ford sent a letter dated July 30, 2018 to Dianne Feinstein stating that in the early 1980s, she was at a "gathering" at a home in suburban Maryland with four others. Brett Kavanaugh and Mark Judge, both drunk, forced her into a room and locked the door, and Kavanaugh then got on top of her. Judge also "periodically" jumped on top of both. Kavanaugh put a hand over her mouth and she believed he would "inadvertently" kill her. At one point, Judge jumped on both again, and she took this "opportune" moment to run outside and go home.
Ford reported this incident to her "local government representative" on July 6, 2018.
Ford wrote to Feinstein to provide "relevant information regarding the current nominee" to the Supreme Court.
It is important to read the actual letter to see how unreliable it is:

SEVEN REASONS WHY SHE IS NOT CREDIBLE
1) First, why, if this happened, didn’t this 15-year-old girl immediately tell her parents that she was attacked and then report to the police? The police could then have questioned everyone at the “gathering.” She says she thought Kavanaugh would inadvertently kill her, yet she does not report this to her parents and the police? This isn’t credible. According to the Post, her explanation is as follows:
“My biggest fear was, do I look like someone just attacked me? I’m not ever telling anyone this. This is nothing, it didn’t happen, and he didn’t rape me.”
Her parents would not believe her because she didn’t look as though someone had attacked her? What parents will not believe their 15-year-old daughter who runs home to tell them drunken boys tried to rape her?
2. Kavanaugh has been investigated by the FBI for appointments to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, White House counsel, and other federal jobs. Why didn’t Ford call the FBI so the FBI could investigate Kavanaugh?
3. Mark Judge, Who was supposed to be present, has denied the accusation.
4. According to her husband, the motivation for telling the therapist in 2012 was that Kavanaugh might be appointed to the Supreme Court. This shows political motivation: she does not want Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court, although she did not care that he was on the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals.
5. Why write to a “local government representative” on July 6, 2018 and then Feinstein on July 30, 2018 instead of contacting the FBI? The “local” Democrat and Feinstein should have immediately referred this to the FBI for investigation. Feinstein should have immediately shared the letter with the entire Judiciary Committee so members could question Kavanaugh. Instead, Feinstein played a political game to wait for an ambush.
6. Note the odd language in the letter. She was at a “gathering,” not a party. She contacted her “local Democratic representative” to find out how to proceed. She is a college professor, yet she acts as though she doesn’t know to call the FBI. She says she received “medical treatment” “for the assault,” but aside from one couples therapy session in 2012, there is no mention of any other treatment.
7. Ford said there were four boys at the “gathering.” Her attorney, Debra Katz, now says there was a girl present.
Ford’s letter of July 30 and her therapy notes of 2012 show her motivation and provide much material for a vigorous cross-examination if this were a case handled by real attorneys.
The kind of violent behavior the accuser describes would come with a history of violence. The assailant would have perpetrated other acts of violence both prior and subsequent to this act.
8) Always wearing sunglasses
Really, it just sounds like teens horsing around and not even sexual in nature. I playfully wrestled with friends... even... gasp a few female friends. Got into a few tickle fights. I must be a monster.
stoned out of her mind.
When are they going to introduce DNA evidence? That would settle it for me (sarc).
It’s not about credibility. Conservatives fight liberals on the wrong playing field all the time.
1) Lefty voters need “something” to rebut any conservative argument. Doesn’t matter what that “something” is or whether it’s true. They can make themselves believe it and have “something” from the “leadership” to respond with when challenged. Then they can jump to “racism” or “sexism” if “something” is challenged and the discussion is quickly over (they won in their minds and “something” is true).
2) Democrat elite always provide “something” when conservatives have a winning argument/position. That satisfies their followers need to believe conservatives are wrong and provides an acceptable rebuttal no matter how nonsensical it is. They may go on CNN to provide “something” or get a “reliable authority” like snopes to do it.
3) The fact that “something” isn’t true will soon be forgotten by most people. And for the rest of their life lefties can use it as an argument or a way to shut down conversation because they become so adamant that it is true. They really believe it. It mus be simple like “Bush stole the election from Gore” (and few people can say what the courts decided on Bush/Gore or many details of the election so they won’t be challenged). In this case it will be something like “Kavanaugh is a rapist” and lots of people won’t even remember it’s an unsubstantiated accusation from high school.
4) In this case EVERY 5-4 decision Kavanaugh is a part of will be considered illegitimate by lefties because of the “rape in high school”. Dems will have that as a campaign argument as long as he’s on the court.
5) While Dems hope to win the short game - delay confirmation until they take back the senate - they are also preparing for the long game where they can attack SC decisions for decades and have a campaign argument. Most of them aren’t that smart or disciplined (Mad Maxine), but they have a playbook and those who are “more elite” (i.e. Schumer & Pelosi) can follow it.
Youre giving her too much credence. I dont believe Kavanaugh ever did such a thing.
These articles think too hard. The story isn’t much and the recovered memory in 2012 is ridiculous. Her own quote says she thought “this is nothing”. Political motivation is clear, scrubbing social media is an obvious cover up, refusing to testify an obvious political tactic. Plus one look at her lawyer.
He probably didn’t even know her. I agree with you. Just saying the whole deal is ridiculous. Some dude jumping up and down on another guy while another guy was on her... it’s all nutty. If it did happen with another guy, it sounds more like playful hi-jinks that after 30 years she morphed into something else entirely.
RE: your #5. In short, it’s about Roe V. Wade.
Even as late as the 1980’s, behavior as described would not have been called a sexual assault by even parents of that era. I was one and had similar experiences with my kids. They would have reacted to the boy’s parents and school, but not the police. We have very different standards today. If they were all drinking, and that is certainly possible, a 35 year old memory of any teenaged kid drunk at a party is no reason to cancel a Supreme Court career; or any career really.
What about the other guy who was know as PJ? He said yesterday he does nor remember this either? Do we have two guys now besides the nominee?
Ford’s Accusation against Kavanaugh Is Not Credible; Here are at least seven reasons why
There is only one reason. She is a demi-rat and lying is part of their DNA.
Reason #8 - she can’t state the time or place this occurred. Not only is this quite unbelievable, it seems specifically calculated to prevent Kavanaugh from being able to put forth alibi evidence. Since this didn’t happen, she can’t put forth a time or place because then it’s possible Kavenaugh could show he was somewhere else or witnesses could possibly be located. So she claims she can’t remember these details in order to make the story impossible to rebut or verify.
She ain’t a professor of English. This is perhaps the most poorly written letter I’ve seen. Clearly a fifth grader could do better.
I am confused about something. They keep calling her “Dr. Ford” or a “psychologist”. I have searched the California Board of Psychologists, found nothing. So she’s not a licensed PhD level psychologist. Then, I searched for licensed marriage and family therapists as well as licensed school psychologists. Nothing. Tried all variations of her name, still nothing.
So...? Weird
