FULL TITLE: Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford demands 'full investigation' by FBI before testifying, in letter from her lawyers
Christine Blasey Ford, the California professor claiming Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her more than 35 years ago, late Tuesday demanded a "full investigation" by the FBI before she attends any congressional hearing or "interrogation" into her accusations.
In response, Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, who said Ford is still invited to speak to the committee, countered that "nothing the FBI or any other investigator does would have any bearing on what Dr. Ford tells the committee, so there is no reason for any further delay.”
Lisa Banks, one of Ford's lawyers, told CNN that her client "will talk to the committee," but she is not prepared for the hearing on Monday.
She said her client has been faced with threats and she has been figuring out how to protect her family.
"There should be no rush to a hearing," Banks said.
Other top Republicans, including Arizona Republican Sen. Jeff Flake, who had said they wanted to hear from Ford before voting on Kavanaugh's confirmation, have indicated they would move forward with a vote if Ford chose not to testify.

Judge K has had his background investigated 6 times already. Maybe the FBI should investigate hers.
Nobody involved, including Ford, gives a flip about what happened 36 years ago. Their single goal is to delay confirmation until after the elections and pray that Dems can take the senate - then they can refuse to confirm anyone until after 2020 and hope a D becomes president. An FBI investigation will accomplish the first part (delaying confirmation).

She’s had 35-36 years to fill in the holes. If it was that big of an issue in her life, she had plenty of time.
There is nothing to investigate, other than questioning her and Kavanaugh and Mr. Judge.

All Blasey Ford has done is convince Americans that women are indeed the weaker sex, needing special care and protection, and different standards of evidence and guilt when compared with men.

Hells Bells that wasn’t even a so-called party. A small get together at best. She didn’t even get that right.
Certainly a full FBI investigation into her Democrat Activist lawyer and the tied to Soros should be done. However it would be helpful for her to perjure herself in front of a congressional hearing for justice to be applied fully.
Why Christine? Your story isn’t true? Have the FBI look into it for years, that is the goal here, stall. Why don’t you talk? You are not believable, if you are telling the truth your words should end this nominee.
I have a vague recollection that a long time ago, charles schumer had something to do with something or other. I am sure it was him, though. And, it was serious.

And since she’s known about this “repressed memory” since 2012, why is she just now requesting an investigation?
How could she not know which year it happened or at what place? Any significant event in my teen years, I can place within 10 feet. What is wrong here? Was she drunk?
