The woman who accused Supreme Court justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault back when they were in high school wants a law enforcement investigation of the incident before testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee, according to her lawyer who appeared on CNN Tuesday night.
Kavanaugh is expected to testify Monday.
“Any talk of a hearing on Monday frankly is premature because she just came forward with these allegations 48 hours ago. And since that time, she has been dealing with hate mail, harassment, death threats. So she’s been spending her time trying to figure out how to put her life back together, how to protect herself and her family. And there hasn’t been an investigation and these are serious allegations,” Lisa Banks, Christine Blasey Ford’s lawyer, said.
“She’s not prepared to talk with them at a hearing on Monday,” she continued. “No investigation — any legitimate investigation is not going to happen between now and Monday."

What exactly is there to investigate?
She said some alleged illegal activity happened.
He said it never happened.
The other guy who was supposedly there said it never happened.
We are long past the statute of limitations on this, so there will be no legal case no matter what.
So say the FBI talks to all three people, and they repeat the stories told. Then what? Where do you go from there?
Then wouldn’t you be back to square one anyway, this he said/she said situation?
Yeah, and once the FBI is done, they’ll want an investigation by the local police, and then by Maryland state troopers, and then by Interpol.....
How can you investigate an imaginary event that was witnessed by no one and happened 36 years ago?

There are worse consequences for lying to the FBI. They should investigate, which would have to start with her.
FBI already said they will not investigate, charges are NOT a Federal Crime.
My guess, they will have more or at least say they have more accusations. Man the dems have sunken low. They look really bad to friends of mine that are independents.
It also means that Trump must be impeached for wanting such a deviant on the court as well as attempting to cover-up BK's predatory behavior.

Actually she came forward in July when she gave the fake but accurate letter to DiFi.
Public accusations are one thing, Lying before a congressional commitee under oath is a very serious crime.
There is an allegation of rape.
But there’s no objective evidence. Its not the evidence, but the seriousness of the charge that’s the standard.
No pubic hair on a Coke can, no semen-stained dress and no corroborating witnesses.
And she waited forty years to disclose it? Yeah, sure.
She calls for an investigation while her client won’t testify.
