I think democrats thought republicans would cave. Now I think she’s afraid to testify....to lie and get caught.
Apparently she talked with a therapist about this. Anyone know how long after the alleged incident this information was shared with the therapist?
Ford knows that the FBI won’t investigate. Her allegations aren’t a matter of Fed law. For that matter, her allegations aren’t a matter of local law since the statue of limitations has run on them.
I say her story is falling apart and she is looking for a way out.
They have none. The federal guys don’t do alleged teenage grab ass cases.

I think Grassley should just say - we're holding a hearing on Monday. Judge Kavanaugh will be there. It is your choice, Mrs. Ford, if you would like to be present as well. But your absence will not stop it from happening.

It’s not within the FBI’s jurisdiction. The accusation was about a fictitious and frivolous fantasy with fictitious characters who did not cross state lines.

Not a federal crime and the statute of limitations was over decades ago.
Anyone with a head on their shoulders knows this is not an issue for the FBI, not sure what they Democrats where thinking, ok, lets hold this back, spring it at the last minute, demand the FBI investigate, and they will, because??? So, they aren’t getting their way, someone has told via back channels to her to make the demand. Just because it comes from her, the FBI can’t suddenly change its standards. Blah. I have no issue with her telling her story and letting the chips fall where they may, but her getting to say this about this man and basically run interfere for the Democrats is not good faith in terms of this process. What a joke.
She can demand whatever she wants. But it’s not up to her and her Democrat attorneys, to set the terms and conditions of the hearings.
