The likely goal of Democrats is to delay a vote on confirming Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court and Sen. Diane Feinstein, who produced the letter of a woman accusing the nominee of inappropriate behavior, has yet another trick up her sleeve.
Adding to the cause to delay the vote, Feinstein says there’s still more that senators don’t know about Kavanaugh, according to Talking Points Memo.

I think Kavanaugh should withdraw if that’s the case. Having your reputation trashed isn’t worth a Supreme Court seat.
And all of it goes away if he does withdraw.
She's had the letter from Ford for over two months, maybe longer, and never even brought it up when she personally met with Kavanaugh.

and she’s “stopped cooperating” with the committee chairman just after the 50+ year old high school girl’s lawyer said his client (yes, she actually has a lawyer!) does not have to prove anything
ha ha....
so now...since the committee already held its hearings while DiFi kept her big high school secret .. secret.. throughout....and since DiFi doesn’t have anything now, and especially since she’s “stopped cooperating” with the committee anyway, the committee will quickly wrap up its work and forward the nomination to the entire senate for vote
and DiFi will have to somehow live down her embarrassment for having turned the US Senate into a farcical circus for a couple days
If she is a character witness, Kavanaugh I think is done for.
You can dismiss the recollection of a lone woman but not someone else who was there.
Let’s see if she steps forward to testify.
Shouldn’t there be a rule that any information any Senator wants considered by the committee must be presented to the committee prior to the expiration of the committee’s hearing dates? I mean, is that so hard a rule for such an august body as the US Senate to fashion?

DiFi should be sanctioned for sandbagging the committee.
She had this info, never disclosed it to the committee and never brought it before Kavanaugh even though she had numerous opportunities to do so.
It’s unethical and unbecoming conduct and DiFi should be ashamed of herself, but Democrats are beneath embarrassment.

She didn’t notice that within hours of the delay announcement, Trump declassified the “FBI texts”.
Further delays could prove very costly to the Left, in ways they don’t yet grasp.

If she had this information, and she did, at the start of this whole process in July, she addresses it with the President, Chairman Grassley, and Judge Kavanaugh in July - Kavanaugh would be made aware of the allegations and all parties could decide if want to go forward with the nomination - if not, then another nominee could be named. Not in the 11th hour before a vote was to take place after hearings are complete which is only designed to make it impossible for confirmation to be completed prior to the election and start of the Court’s term.
This is truly one of the most messed up things I have ever seen carried out in politics - and it isn’t like we haven’t observed an abundance of underhanded things over the course of the decades. The reason for this happening isn’t just about Kavanaugh getting on the Supreme Court - the goal is to destroy Judge Kavanaugh and put him and his family through unparalleled anguish - even if he gets confirmed, it can as a warning to any other potential future conservative justice: Don’t accept a nomination for the Supreme Court, or this is what is coming for you and your family. Another goal is to delegitimize the Court itself under constitutionalist control and encourage the populace not to accept their decisions - same as they are doing now when they lose elections. If you don’t get what you want, it is illegitimate. Essentially they are encouraging anarchy.
Put her under oath and bring Trey Gowdy over from the House to cross examine the sorry bitch.
