well, so far she’s produced only a lot of laughter
and nothing germane to the nomination
and she’s “stopped cooperating” with the committee chairman just after the 50+ year old high school girl’s lawyer said his client (yes, she actually has a lawyer!) does not have to prove anything
ha ha....
so now...since the committee already held its hearings while DiFi kept her big high school secret .. secret.. throughout....and since DiFi doesn’t have anything now, and especially since she’s “stopped cooperating” with the committee anyway, the committee will quickly wrap up its work and forward the nomination to the entire senate for vote
and DiFi will have to somehow live down her embarrassment for having turned the US Senate into a farcical circus for a couple days
How can anyone ‘make an accusation’ & then “NOT HAVE TO PROVE IT? What kind of laws do we have?
That attitude opens up a whole ‘nother can of worms.
It would be a total nightmare for anyone who is the future target of an ‘accuser’.
Any one of us here on FR could be a target by someone with a grudge.
