Hurricane Florence is a rapidly strengthening major storm with sustained 130 mph winds as it heads toward a potentially devastating landfall in the Southeast U.S. later this week, already prompting evacuation orders on the North Carolina coast.
The National Hurricane Center is warning of life-threatening storm surge in the Carolinas and Virginia, as well as a prolonged and exceptionally heavy rainfall event in the Southeast and mid-Atlantic.

A friend in FL and her retirement community neighbors experienced the evacuation nightmare. The only way to avoid the no good solution nightmare is to leave a few days ahead of time and get hundreds of miles away, and stay away until sustainable living conditions are restored.
Since that time, I believe it dropped to a tropical depression and now has regained strenght to a Cat 4. Maybe it dropped it's sand along the way.
The weather guy on youtube said he had never seen anything like a cat 4 loaded with sand before.
Leave Baltimore now! Don’t linger to gather personal items, not even family members.
Remember, if you aren’t out of Baltimore by Wednesday, your EBT will be suspended. Leave NOW!

Florence? Isn’t that an ante-bellum name associated with Southern plantation slavery?
Hurricane be rayciss!
How long will it take for Leonardo DiCaprio (or some other climate hoaxer)to come out and say that “If Trump didn’t bow out of the Paris deal, this wouldn’t have happened!”?
I give it by the end of next weekend.
Keep an eye on the wind currents. This could stall and build strength, take a turn north and then a sharp left right into DE.

They’ve been taking extra measurements by jet and weather balloons to get extra data, so the probability cone is smaller than usual.
And just wait for the media to weigh in. Last year, the media worked hard to make Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico into Trump’s Katrina. They will try again with this storm, I’m sure. I hate to be so cynical. But, the liberals would like to see a major disaster if they can blame Trump somehow for not responding.
It doesn’t matter to the liberals and media, that state and local officials, not the federal government, are the key people involved in disaster planning and relief. If there is a hated president in the White House, blame will be assessed to that person, regardless of whether it’s correct to do so or not.
Gee. I never have to evacuate my home in Kentucky.
Or just go out to sea...
Trump was supposed to hold a rally this Friday in Mississippi for Cindy Hyde-Smith.
That’s been cancelled:

Thank you. In all the reports I’ve looked at; none actually say when it will hit.
Maybe the storm stops and starts moving forward to make it impossible till now. Still; even a good guess would have been helpful.
Trump’s fault.
Media will ceaselessly savage Trump with the elections coming up.
The narrative will resonate with at least some low-fo voters like my neighbors.
Anything bad is Trump’s fault. Anything good is result of policies implemented by BathhouseBarry Soetoro. Is that clear yet, peasants?
Sustained winds are bad, but the wind gusts are gut wrenching (if youve ever rode out a high cat storm). You never forget that sound.
Just leave. Especially if you have children. Its terrifying.
I’m right in it’s projected path.
I overheard a couple of Feminazis back when Katrina hit. They wondered why it was a female name. I explained to them that it was a 50/50 chance of being a female name or a male name since they go back and forth after each hurricane.
They just gave me “that face” probably muttering it should still be a (white) male hurricane that destroyed New Orleans. Leftists can be so much fun to play with sometimes with their average IQ being below 80 and all.
Your attempt at humor is grossly misplaced.
Irma sent winds to 85 mph here.......that is all I ever want to see.
