OK, what’s the joke?

That big bearded character in the image is the late British actor Sebastian Cabot, who was a main character in a late 1960s sitcom called "A Family Affair." In that series, he played the butler to an upscale urban bachelor who inherited (or adopted) two young children who are also seen in the image.

The butler's name was Giles French, mostly referred to as "Mr. French."

Get it?

Poland and Hungary have a stronger sense of survival than the current French one:

We didn’t like paying for France in 1944 either.

Got to admit, FDR was right on his opinion of that country.

Brian Keith is collecting light aliens that were left behind in cocoons.

Funny how “community solidarity” is never in play when it comes to importing Islamic armies to terrorize Europeans across the continent.

If it were, perhaps this new breed of populist leaders would never have risen to power. After all, the Islamic invasion is primarily is what is putting them there.

Sebastian Cabot, “Mr. French” from “Family Affair”.

Brian Keith was the dad.

Great family show. Remember it from when I was a kid.

A very nice memory, and thank you for that.

“The E U should probably dissolve. Best thing for everyone.”

Yes, once they realize that would be best for everyone, I’m certain they’ll decide to dissolve themselves.

Sorry for the sarcasm, but sometimes I’m floored by the naive sounding platitudes often posted here on FR. Cynics like me believe these “people” are evil, and can only be destroyed, as opposed to optimistically hoping for some kind of epiphany on their part. Do you really believe they might wake up one day and “dissolve” themselves?

We need movements and parties in Europe to work to revert the EU to PURELY a “free trade union” with no loss of sovereignty in any aspect by any EU nation = that would be an EU without a polticial mission.

That would revoke things like the Schengen Agreement which mandates the EU-wide Brussels centralized approach to immigration and refugees from outside the EU. Individual nations will make those decisions.

The free trade rules could also provide visa-free travel FOR EU citizens within the EU, while requiring passports for everyone at borders, and visas for non-EU citizens as set be each EU state.

Labor exchange rules would be set bilaterrally, with some states having greater labor integration that others, depending on existing traditions and each nations own desire.

The EU countries could keep the Euro and the ECB, but can quit trying to impose fiscal rules on each other. The U.S. has one currency and one central bank, but even in the U.S. states are not responsible for nor trying to dictate “fiscal responsibility” of each other. It is a strange fiction in Europe that there is any necessity for that, and stranger still that so many in the EU are so convincded that is necessary. One can only conclude it is part of the desire to turn Brussels into a new imperium.

Sarcasm you can do. Don’t forget to try and detect it as well.

The French elites have made their peace with the end of France and its replacement with a Muslim state. They just want it to happen gradually and with not too much fuss.

Poland and Hungary, however, are making a fuss. That cannot be allowed.

We in Poland don’t want to pay for France in NATO. Poland is spending agreed percentage of its budget on military and NATO. Guess who is not...
