I’m in the last third of ‘Too Big To Fail’. I’ve seen the movie quite a few times, but reading the book is illuminating.
So much irony in it. Rating agencies? Never really mentioned as the original culprits, nor was Congress. The fraud was rampant. Nobody was writing down their toxic assets. New respect for Einhorn and the rest of the shorts. Without shorts, we’d be truly screwed.

Great juxtaposition of these types.
May God bless those who gave their lives to defend this great nation. Amen.

I agree. They are taking a gamble on loyalty from NFL-lovers, social justice warriors, anti-patriotic types, and hoping to attract more business from those groups.
I wouldn’t bet on it working out for them.

Some social media users took to Twitter to showcase their frustrations. Videos and photos showed fans completely destroying their Nike-branded apparel
I understand the rest of it, but why destroy things you've already bought? That doesn't hurt Nike at all - denying them future profits does. Donate the Nike gear to some charity and don't buy Nike again.

The decision to make Kaepernick the face of Nike's anniversary advertising campaign wasn't made by a few managers - it would have been made at the highest levels by the CEO and the board of directors, and would have gotten Phil Knight's blessing. The entire company deserves to be held accountable.

Those being the few managers that control the company. Yes. And we agree. Nike can GTH so far as THIS customer is concerned.

Nike is going to be sorry for this!

I dont remember ever owning anything from NikeSame here. My athletic shoes are usually New Balance, because I like my athletic shoes to be black and to look more like regular shoes. Plus, they fit me well and are cheaper than Nike.
