Hollywood never landed a man on the moon. America did!!!
HEY PAL! Youre funny right up to here. On behalf of Great Lakes area herring-nibblers, we can stop reading you too so watch where youre swingin that pencil!
I already have!!!
The media never revised the Armstrong quote to be corrected.. Why?
I only support Clint Eastwood movies and the ones he directed like Million Dollar Baby, etc, etc, etc.....
If you are gonna have to go to movies...make sure they are done by companies who tell the whole story. Two cases in point...read Bonfire of the Vanities...then watch the movie...read Unbroken...then see the movie...nite and day differences...the “entertainment” folks are just monetizing our need for distraction while insidiously propagandizing us with their insipid sophomoric morals and philosophies...
Time to leave anything associated with modern (or should I say post-modern?) Hollywwod.
Been doing it for years. Last movie I saw in the theater was Twister.

There is a simple, inexpensive solution for this. Don't go to theaters.

They even hired a no-talent Canadian (Ryan Babygoose) to play the part of the AMERICAN who first stepped on the moon after being taken there by a vehicle designed, built, and paid for by AMERICAN taxpayers.
I have the other issue of high frequency hearing loss from military service. The loud sound just amplifies the bass tones and drowns out my effort to hear the treble.
I need CC to follow a movie.
I will never forget that moment, at Lane Army Heliport RVN, 12 hours ahead of DC time, listening on Armed Forces radio, the transmitted sound of Neil Armstrong's voice as he descended down those stairs on the lunar lander.
It was not a global event, It was a truly American event, inspired by JFK and fulfilled by devoted Americans using slide rules, rudimentary computers and seat of their pants ability.
How to See All Six Apollo Moon Landing Sites, by Sky and Telescope
Hubble's 94.5-inch mirror has a resolution of 0.024″ in ultraviolet light, which translates to 141 feet (43 meters) at the Moon's distance. In visible light, it's 0.05″, or closer to 300 feet. Given that the largest piece of equipment left on the Moon after each mission was the 17.9-foot-high by 14-foot-wide Lunar Module, you can see the problem.Did I say problem? No problem for NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO), which can dip as low as 31 miles (50 km) from the lunar surface, close enough to image each landing site in remarkable detail.
Photos of each of the six Apollo landing sites photographed from low orbit by NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter. ALSEP stands for Apollo Lunar Surface Experiments Package. The astronauts' tracks as well as the rover and other items are plainly visible. Click for a large version.

They didn’t show the flag because the flag, and taking it to the moon is a symbol and a strong reminder of AMERICAN GREATNESS! Since they hate this country, they will do nothing to honor its greatness.
MAGA is what they hate.
In my book, Kurt’s way behind the curve on this.
My last theatre visit was for ‘Gettysburg’ in ‘93.
Don’t anticipate being back - ever.
I sure wish I knew what they were saying!
Especially what those hand gestures mean; too!
Really?
He said what he said.
You simply do NOT assign it to a blooper reel.
