Jihadis Jailed: Five Extremist Muslims from New Mexico Compound Arrested by FBI

The FBI arrested New Mexico Amalia compound residents on Friday on federal firearms and conspiracy charges, according to a statement by the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the District of New Mexico.

The arrests came just two days after Judge Emilio Chavez dismissed child abuse charges against three of the five on a timing technicality.

Prosecutors had missed the deadline for an evidentiary hearing to establish probable cause under New Mexico’s “10-day rule,” as Fox News and other outlets reported.

Earlier this month, police raided the ramshackle dessert dwelling in search of 3-year-old Abdul-Ghani Wahhaj, who had gone missing from Georgia.

They discovered 11 starving, severely neglected children along with the boy’s remains amid the squalor, as multiple outlets reported.

The children were reportedly being trained to conduct school shootings.

The adult defendants arrested Friday, all between the ages of 35 and 40, include Haitian national Jany Leveille — who was illegally present in the United States — Siraj Ibn Wahhaj, Hujrah Wahhaj, Subhanah Wahhaj, and Lucas Morton.

Leveille is charged with “being an alien unlawfully in possession of firearms and ammunition in the District of New Mexico from Nov. 2017 through Aug. 2018.”

The Wahhajs and Morton are charged with aiding and abetting Leveille’s offense and conspiring to commit the offence, per the DOJ statement.

The firearms charges arose from a search warrant executed August 3, when the Taos County Sheriff’s Office found at least 11 firearms and a large quantity of ammunition. Leveille stands accused of transporting the firearms in her car across state lines.

If convicted, Leveille faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison followed by deportation.

The remaining four also face a maximum of 10 years in prison if convicted on aiding and abetting.

All five face a statutory penalty of five years if convicted on the conspiracy charge, the statement explained.

The group was reportedly arrested in Taos, New Mexico, on Friday afternoon without incident.

They are slated to appear in federal court on Tuesday, September 4, in Albuquerque.

What about child abuse, and murder and teaching children to become terrorists? Any way I am just glad some had the guts to prosecute these vile people for something. Now someone should get rid of that insane judge.

And did the prosecutor move the court for such an order, supported by facts supporting that extraordinary circumstance exists?

Democratic Socialist, Women's March Coordinator, jihadist Linda Sarsour has as her mentor the unindicted co-conspirator of the first World Trade Center bombing. His son is the leader of this training camp.

Rich airhead social justice warriors are their useful idiots, abetters and allies.

TOTALLY LAME CHARGE!

How about charging these degenerate, sub-human ass wipes with “conspiracy to commit terrorist acts on U.S. soil?”

How about trying these camel-humping musloid bastards with the actual crimes they were plotting to commit? No; rather let’s play asinine games, so these freaks will be free in 5-10 years to plot this crap all over again. I absolutely hate our government!

The FBI should be disbanded for the useless jerk-offs they truly are. In the first place, the FBI is unconstitutional. Other than that they are nothing but a bureaucratic cabal of incompetent half-wits, who couldn’t find their asses with both hands and a map.

Just another reason to despise my government, and wish to God that we would kill every Muslim on the planet, w/o exception.

Charges needed to be filed in 10 days and for whatever reason they were not. Sounds like the prosecutor is at fault. Judges can not and should not hold people that have not been properly charged.

There have been a lot of claims made by police, and prosecutor but both times when it counted and was their time to show the judge the crimes they did not present the case or evidence to back up their claims.

This is a really strange one, but not sure either of the judges are the problem in this one. I would still like to know who authorized that camp to be partially bulldozed down. That does not seem right at all.

The judge dismissed because the prosecution had 10 days to properly file charges and did not.

The police/prosecution have made all sorts of wild statements about what was going on there, but when it counted- in court in front of a judge they did not bring charges on the most serious of those claims. That is the reason the 1st judge did what she did on the bail and why this judge dismissed. Judges have to deal with what is filed, not what is claimed in news articles. For some strange reason the police/prosecutor did not back up their claims in court.

This has not made sense from the beginning, no matter how you look at it. There is a mystery here, and as far as I am concerned the police have some explaining to do. They left many things that should have been considered evidence behind after their investigation. They released the compound within just a few days and a reporter went in there and found all sorts of things that should have been taken from a crime scene. Then the compound was partially destroyed by bulldozing, and I have not seen a good source that explains who bulldozed it and what authority ordered/allowed it to happen.

Yes correct. They obviously missed the deadline on purpose. There is some real dirty stuff going on here and some obvious CYA. I think these terrorists were well known to authorities, in particular the Obama wing of the FBI.

Absolutely.

A whole host of strange legal actions have raised up a cloud of questions around this case.

Seems like the law enforcement sector has messed up the crime scene, downplayed the possible murder of a child, and treated the virulence of the terrorist school-shooting training like an odd case of criminal mischief.

The legal defense team were filmed back-slapping and otherwise celebrating the dismissal and release of three terrorist by Judge Emilio Chavez because of the "ten day rule"--a ruling criminally ignored by the prosecution through either ignorance or actual complicity in springing these felons.

And finally the judicial segment was totally bungled by the judges Chavez and McElroy by standing silently by as the 10 days ticked off--without so much as a note to the prosecutors warning them that they were risking release of dangerous people back into the community if they allowed the time to elapse.

This whole legal circus needs close scrutiny by a good investigative journalist.

What about murder charges for murdering that poor little toddler? Why just the lesser charges?

Why was the evidence and crime scene destroyed lickeddy-split, just like it has been in so many other instances.

Ive been investigating this case since the “training children as school shooters” headline went national. I thought I smelled fake news and what I found was abysmal and inconsistent reporting. This first thing the stuck out to me was the repeated reference to “court documents” yet none were provided in the original AP story or the reprints despite NM being an open records State.. Many of the articles I found ran with the original AP headline yet in the body of the article it claimed there were attacks being planned on multiple gov agencies.

So far I’ve managed to track down a few official court documents and this case is hands down one of the craziest I have ever seen. At this point I don’t know what to make of any of it and I think I may be the only person out there doing any real digging. All anyone in the media cares about is generating their clicks and getting their paychecks including a number of youtubers and figures on twitter.

I was planning on making a video today with the info I have but I’ve decided to back out. I don’t want to put out fake news and every time I get a handle on things the story shifts. I’m considering putting up a post here to see if anyone wants to help research or at least see some of the actual prosecution documents.
