Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, who was Sen. John McCain (R-AZ)s running mate in the 2008 presidential election, has been excluded from his funeral. Breitbart News has independently confirmed an earlier report in People magazine, which reported that Palin was not sent an invitation, and was told through intermediaries to stay away from the ceremony.
McCain fundraiser Carla Eudy confirmed to People that Palin had not been invited possibly, People speculated, at the behest of the McCain family.
The news comes on the tenth anniversary of the date in 2008 when Palin was announced as McCains pick for Vice President.
Palin now joins President Donald Trump on the list of those barred from the funeral.
But unlike Trump, Palin never feuded with McCain and never criticized him.
When news broke on Saturday of McCains passing, Palin said: Today we lost an American original. Sen. John McCain was a maverick and a fighter, never afraid to stand for his beliefs. John never took the easy path in life and through sacrifice and suffering he inspired others to serve something greater than self.
John McCain was my friend. I will remember the good times. My family and I send prayers for Cindy and the McCain family.

True. And I suspect Romney would have pushed amnesty. He showed he cannot be trust. In addition, we would have had a confused wimp for VP.
I want to know if the McCain Girls were invited to perform at the funeral:

When we were trying to get Palin in the White House, we had some McCain/Palin bumper stickers with McCain's name on the top and Palin’s underneath.
Both the same size IIRC.
I took a couple of them and separated the names and applied them on the rear window with Palin’s name on top.
After the election when driving through rural Calif on my way to Fresno, I saw a sign at the entrance to a farm which read:
Don't Blame Me, I Voted For The Hot Babe And The Old GuyShows you where middle America/flyover country is at.
Ditto!
I see.
Yup!!
Palin was so loyal to McCain that she even campaigned with him for his senatorial reelection.
“This isnt a bad thing. Think theyll start popping off political crap? That seems to be a thing with liberal/progressive politician funerals these days. Im counting on Megan to be horribly embarrassing.”
Wow. You called it.
I’d normally be proud of that but this one was all too easy.
The idiot McCain family probably blame Sarah for his loss, like it’s her fault that he ran the lamest presidential campaign in history. Look at his health, having that job would’ve killed him before his first term was out. Bill Krinton was in his 40s and the job obviously aged him.
