Florida gubernatorial candidate Ron DeSantis did an interview with Fox News on Wednesday where he used a um, questionable choice of words when talking about his Democratic opponent, Andrew Gillum.
As DeSantis spoke to Sandra Smith about how he secured the Republican Party nomination last night, he was asked how he plans to beat Gillum now that theyre about to go head-to-head. Since the Tallahassee mayor is campaigning on progressive policies with support from Bernie Sanders, DeSantis acknowledged Gillam as an articulate spokesman for those far left views who moved forward with more charisma than other candidates in the democratic primaries.

Hopefully DeSantis won’t fall for the trap and appologize. He should just say, “Don’t be stupid. Next question.” when the msm swarms him over this non-event.
Monkey it up sounds better than screw it up -or- fxck it up, No?
Stupid bastard gave them just what they wanted.
You make Lindsey Graham look manly.
Actually, saying Fxck it up is now commonplace especially from female millennials. If it ever slipped from my mouth in mixed company or in front of a minor I was personally embarrassed - now the young girls say it like it's normal speech. However, don't DARE say Monkey.
Where will the MSM find the space or airtime for something as inane as this, now that it's been confirmed that the Chinese hacked Hillary's email in real time?/s
OMG He said monkey!
Quick run around in circles!
Then get on your knees and ask your masters if you can live.
What a pathetic bunch some on the right are. Trump has not made it this far by being one of you. The left owns you.
I guess, but my kids are in mid-20’s and fortunately I never heard from them.
But playing golf in company leagues with blue collar workers, that F-word was ubiquitous, and frankly annoying after a while.
Not in my opinion I didn’t waste it.
“He probably meant nothing by it, but seriously, what an idiot!”
I agree.
I'd take a wild guess it's a product of good parenting.
“And please keep your pearl clutching to yourself.”
Oh jesus....
Dude NO ONE CARES about what an internet bad ass thinks, ok?
The guy running for that office will have to artfully turn this around from potential would-be political attackers and keep the media at bay, whether Chris Q. “I’m not a pussy” 37 thinks bloviating on FR means they wont.
They are going to try to use it against him, because that is what you do in politics.
Maybe no one will use it. Ok! Then he is fortunate in this political landscape that the left let that one slip. But acting like they wont is not good strategy. That isnt “pearl clutching”.
See foxnews.com. DeSantis campaign just defended him by saying, to paraphrase, it is absurd to think that he meant anything other than to reverse the trend of more jobs and greater prosperity begun under gov scott and potus.
they did good.
Ultimately he’ll be hounded into explaining it. And when you’re explaining, you’re losing.
Good for them.
That would be “don’t get your knickers in a twist” not knockers. The American version is “don’t get your panties in a wad.” I suppose “don’t get your knockers in the wringer” would have been appropriate 70 years ago.
This is why there are problems.
Making a mountain out of nothing! Post it with the suggestion it was wrong.
How about ignoring it, cause you know he wasn’t saying it that wsy.
But no, it has to be the subject of conversation
