I was thinking the same thing. Those caskets are heavy. I remember all my young cousins as pallbearers for grandma’s funeral. Carrying that casket down a washed out road with tree roots everywhere behind the church, I just knew we were going to have a disaster or I was going to have a coronary. By God’s grace we made it to the gravesite.
I used to say it back then. It really seemed like McCain probably did vote Obama in that voting booth.

Given the current level of TDS and need for the current and former corruptocrats to “get Trump” before he shows just how rotten and rigged the system is, the chances for Wellstone II, Resistance Boogaloo are excellent.
Exposing McCain’s own role in this, after all the public wailing over the corpse of St. John the Trump-hater, might be be one of the Trumpiest things I can think of.

Been watching NCIS, and reruns of dateline, even Hannity was going to have a segment about him CHANGED THE CHANNEL!!!! Dobbs ALWAYS comes through NOT A WORD about McShame I LOVE DOBBS!!!!

To put aside all the obvious ridiculous ness, just in the first place, pall bearers should always be the young men of the family and friends. 17 to 29. If you can’t get that kind of a group together especially as a supposed statesman then somethings up.

at a “celebrity” funeral sometimes the other older celebrities walk along side while younger people inside them do the heavy lifting.

Not one person on that list would I consider a decent human being, although several years ago there were a couple of them that I thought didn’t completely suck. (I was wrong)
I wondered about that too. Isn’t at least one of his sons a Navy Officer? One would think he’d be taking his Dress Whites to the Cleaners right now. Maybe they weren’t all that close.
Career politicians can get sort of married to their work.
Politics ends up fulfilling all their personal needs, usually by proxy. Look at Nancy Pelosi, almost 80, and still, has no interest in staying at home with her family. The Senate is her real family now.
