Bp Strickland Joins Calls for Investigation Which Would Lead to Pope Francis' Resignation
Diocese of Tyler, TX ^ | 2018-08-26 | Bp Strickland

Posted on 08/26/2018 8:34:36 AM PDT by dangus

Dear Priests, Deacons, Religious and all Holy Faithful of the Diocese of Tyler,

A letter (see below) by Archbishop Vigano, former Nuncio to the United States, raises grave allegations and calls for the resignation of numerous high ranking prelates including Pope Francis.

Let us be clear that they are still allegations but as your shepherd I find them to be credible. Using this standard the response must be a thorough investigation similar to those conducted any time allegations are deemed to be credible. I do not have the authority to launch such an investigation but I will lend my voice in whatever way necessary to call for this investigation and urge that it’s findings demand accountability of all found to be culpable even at the highest levels of the Church.

As this unfolds I urge all in the Diocese of Tyler to pray fervently for Holy Mother Church and beg the Intercession of Our Blessed Mother. We are the flock of Jesus Christ. He is Lord of His Church and His Holy Spirit will guide us through this darkness.

Almighty God Father, Son and Spirit have mercy on your Church and cleanse her in the fires of your Love.

Blessed Virgin Mary, Pray for us All Sainted Popes & Bishops in Heaven, Pray for us All Holy Men and Women, Pray for us

I direct all priests to include this notice in the masses on August 26, and post it on their websites and other social media immediately.

Most Reverend Joseph E. Strickland Bishop of Tyler

DANGUS NOTES:

Abp Vigano has provided documentation that he warned Pope Francis that Cdl McCarrick was a predator. He claims that Pope Benedict had quietly removed McCarrick from public ministry (why quietly? Did he believe the accusations were credible but unproven?), but Francis not only rehabilitated McCarrick, but basically allowed him to rebuild a network of homosexual predators and enablers, including Cdl. Blase Cupich of Chicago. Also, that when Pope Francis found Vigano believed that Cdl. Wuerl was part of the problem, he sidelined Vigano and essentially made Honduran Cdl. Maradiago the bishop-maker of the U.S.

Maradiago is a leftist living the high life of opulence in a desperately poor nation. Pope Francis has canned a prominent bishop of wealthy Germany for less. More to the point, Maradiago has been charged with enabling a seminary in Honduras that is rife with homosexual predation.

As a leftist apologist for liberation theology, Maradiago is precisely the sort of character that those conservatives who supported Francis thought that Francis would adeptly suppress.

How can a Pope resign?

Ask Pope Benedict.

Oh, but wait ... The sodomite-enabling Pope, Francis, changed Catholic teaching about capital punishment. How strangely convenient.

Don't forget, he did away with Hell, too.

Hmmmm... Wonder if a man can be President and Pope at the same time? Want to see the Cathosick church heal? I guess Melania would be a problem, but what the hey. No worse than having a bunch of butt pirates and pedos in charge. Let priests marry women and the huge sodomite magnet is quelled.

When I was in college their were three huge homo magnet majors. Theater, Music, and lo and behold Catholic divinity students. I would guess the rump ranger to straight ratios at 75%/65%/50% respectively.

Had a theater major and a divinity major across the hall who bunked together. 18 years later in the French Quarter I ran into the theater major. He was dressed in skin tight leather. Claimed he was going to a dress up party. My wife and I tailed him being nosy parkers. Guess where he went?
Here on Bourbon Street.

My pastor who is retired has spoken to me and others of the homosexuality that was rampant in his NY seminary in the 70s. While the Penn report shows awfyl pedophilia, it is also being used to obscure the out of control homosexual activities on powerful priests, especially in semibaries as McCarrick is accused if. Think about it. One abomination, the abuse of children, being used to obscure the fact that abuse of men akin to Weinstein’s abuse of women is ongoing. In our most conversation I off handedly mentioned a second Reformation to my friend and former pastor. His response, “ A Second Reformation...why not?:

It IS a schism, which has been with us for quite awhile. Besides completely corrupting the hierarchy, the homosexuals together with their corrupt allies, have tampered with the worship and more and more openly demand the demolition of the core teachings of Christ and the Church.

I take comfort that Mother Mary has prophesied this schism, once in the open (as now clearly it is), will be defeated and her Immaculate Heart will triumph. Fr. Stefano Gobbi was one of the messengers she used.

Still surprised to see that Pope Francis is in this up to his neck, though.

The good Bishop also expects all

“Catholics who are contracepting must refrain from presenting themselves for Holy Communion, he said as well, until they align their lives to God’s plan.”

Good luck getting to the pope, but certainly, any predator under US jurisdiction should be indicted and tried under the criminal statutes of the states. The church cannot be trusted to deal with this by itself.

I like to call him the anti Christ, and it seems I was correct in doing so.

Priority one for Pope Francis was the temperature of the soil in order to spread communism. Protecting kids just didn’t make it to his priority list.

This Pope has done so much damage to the authority of the church that it may never recover. This may have been the intention from the beginning, knowing that the progressives, and Muslims like Obama, helped get him into power.

They need to make him walk the plank, ASAP.

Worked for me.

The link leads to Bp Strickland's page at the Diocese of Tyler with his statement, and the link at the beginning of Strickland's statement leads to the National Catholic Register which has both NCR's commentary and Vigano's complete text.

The above links should work.

Yes, it could end in schism. In some ways we're in schism now, but it hasn't been all sorted out and formalized yet.

I don't have any special "insider Catholic baseball" information, but --- No, I don't think it would be like the Protestant Reformation. It won't result in flare-ups of continent-wide religious warfare lasting over a century.

More likely (this is only my guess) maybe at the death of Benedict, somebody in the College of Cardinals will release another Vigano-type testimony detailing the politicking before, during and after the 2013 Papal Conclave which voted for Jorge Bergoglio. "Politicking" hasn't been precisely defined, but supposedly any wheeling and dealing is illicit and would invalidate the conclave.

Then we got trouble, since there isn't any specified mechanism for doing that kind of investigation as to whether the charge of politicking is true or not, and whether it rose to the level of a canonical crime ("delict").

Maybe if Pope Emeritus Benedict and Bergoglio both passed on, there could be a new conclave electing a new pope who would try Bergoglio for illicit conclave or heresy posthumously (it's been done.) In which case all of his official acts and appointments could be invalidated.

What a mess.

I depend on the Holy Spirit to sort this out. But I suspect it won't be quick or easy, and might not be worked out in my lifetime.

Or the Lord could come again. That's a possibility.

I don’t think the U.S. can subpoena the Pope. He is a head of state. I don’t think even Italy can get him.

Just struggling to kick the wolfish-shepherds out of the sheepfold.

An insight from the First Reading on August 27:

Ezekiel 34:10-11
Thus says the Lord GOD:
I swear I am coming against these shepherds.

I will claim my sheep from them
and put a stop to their shepherding my sheep
so that they may no longer pasture themselves.
I will save my sheep,
that they may no longer be food for their mouths.

For thus says the Lord GOD:
I myself will look after and tend my sheep.
