Had he any remorse for the way he lived his life, or his repeated betrayal of the country, he would have sought redemption a long time ago. I hope the arrogant, self-serving bastard gets what he deserves in the after life. Makes me glad I don't watch tv news so I won't have to deal with the unending praise he'' get once he's dead.
My father died of brain cancer, shouldn’t happen to anyone, even McCain.
He’ll be dead within 2-4 weeks.
I hope McCain will find peace with his passing. OTOH, he should watch his back for his cellmate in eternity will be Charles Manson.

McCain was a TERRIBLE senator who repeatedly lied to his constituents in order to get elected and re-elected. He has always been an angry, snide volatile, and foul-mouthed jerk. He is NOT a hero.
There aren’t enough good deeds in his life to outweigh all the bad and treacherous things that he’s done.

Thank you for your thoughts and responses. From my perspective, my wife did not suffer pain, but suffered systemically and mentally. She was destroyed in her last days with bouts of dementia, weakness, loss of appetite and weight, bed ridden and finally the end.

Also put up lawn signs, bumper stickers, etc. Well, as we all know now, he planned on taking a dive all along to get his buddy in to office and destroy America. A Traitor if there ever was one.

True. My best friend died from that terrible disease not quite three years ago. He lived just over four years with glio, which he attributed to his great faith and fierce determination to live. He’d return from chemo or radiation at Vanderbilt and head to the gym. One of the toughest guys I ever knew.
In the end, the cumulative effects of radiation and chemo killed him. The radiation triggered seizures that left him in terrible shape. Died in his wife’s arms, just a few months past his 63rd birthday. Left a tremendous legacy a man of character and integrity who loved the Lord, and surrendered his life to him years before.
I hope John McCain made the same choice. And I don’t wish the end faced by many glio patients on anyone.
His first wife is still living as well. Carol McCain lives in Virginia Beach, near her son, who is a retired Naval aviator. John McCain treated her badly when he returned from the Hanoi Hilton and began bedding every woman he could find. Carol McCain went through her own hell while her husband was a POW; she nearly died in a car accident that left her four inches shorter, due to damage to her back and spine.
When McCain met Cindy, he gave Carol McCain the heave-ho; she got his Navy pension and their savings; John got the trophy wife and access to a vast fortune to support his political ambitions and a comfortable lifestyle. Yet, Carol McCain has never said a negative word (publicly) about her ex-husband and even endorsed him for president in 2008.
BTW, Carol McCain worked in the White House protocol office for Ronaldus Magnus. One reason she got the job is that President Reagan was shocked at how she had been dumped by McCain, and even with a retired Navy CAPT’s pension for alimony, she was struggling to support herself and the children who were still at home.
McCain claimed to have been a foot soldier in the Reagan Revolution, but a lot of people in the White House soured on “the Maverick” after he fecklessly dumped his wife for the newer and richer model.
Whatever they do to ‘celebrate’ his life I will not be tuning in at all.
