Election officials in Ohio found 588 uncounted votes Wednesday in a suburb of Columbus, county officials said.
After counting the ballots, Republican Troy Balderson received 198 votes; Democrat Danny O’Connor got 388 votes; and Joe Manchik, 2 votes. Thus, O’Connor gained 190 on Balderson, who currently leads by 1,564 votes in the close race.
“The votes from a portion of one voting location had not been processed into the tabulation system,” officials explained. “Election night results are tabulated through the use of a device called a master PEB that is returned to the Board along with flash drives from each machine. The Griswold Center voting location had two master PEB’s, only one of which was read and processed into the tabulation system on Election Night. The additional votes identified during this preliminary audit will be reflected in the final official results certified by the Board of Elections on August 24th.”
While Balderson declared victory Tuesday night, O’Connor said in a tweet celebrating Wednesday's discovery that he is holding out for all votes to be counted.

According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, 3,435 provisional ballots and 5,048 absentee ballots will be counted by the August 24 deadline.
The evil Russians they say manipulated the election must not have hidden these votes very well.

this is exactly how Franken won in MN in 2008. They kept “finding” uncounted ballots in closets, trunks of cars, and hollow trees. Amazingly enough, they were almost all for Franken.
Ads should be plastered in Nov. to highlight this tactic. a gentle reminder of this over the years would be great at getting out the GOP voters.
Republican votes do show up after the polls close but those are military ballots that get delayed several weeks at the post office. “Too bad so sad.”

Ever notice how finding missing ballots NEVER adds to a GOP win? Next they’ll find a ballot box in the trunk of some Democrat precinct captain’s car, so of course, they’ll have to count that extra 500 votes for O’Connor…which will mean a mandatory complete recount. And during that recount, he will make up the 1500+ and more, a la the Al Franken voter fraud that resulted in his first senatorial win in MN. Until some people start going to jail, the Democrats will keep getting away with their fraud.
This could very well backfire on the Dems.
Stealing this seat for 2 months in a special election will only rouse the GOP electorate out of their slumber, to show up in overwhelming numbers in November.

I'm not sure about that. In the WA state governor's election in 2004, the 'Rats conducted a couple of "recounts" until their candidate (Christine Gregoire, aka Fraudoire) managed to "win" (after losing on election night and a recount) by all of 133 votes. The 'Pub SofS, an old fossil of a RINO named Sam Reed, gladly certified Fraudoire the "winner" and told the 'Pub candidate (Dino Rossi) to shove it and run for some lousy consolation prize office the next time around (something like King County Executive, or some useless thing).
The 1984 congressional race in the Indiana 8th district saw the 'Pub candidate win on election night and a state-sponsored recount, the Indiana SofS certified him the winner, but the 'Rats in the House refused to seat him until the 'Rats in the House did their own "recount", which they did several times, changing the rules after each one that showed their candidate still losing, and finally they rigged the ballot rejection rules to the point where their candidate "won" (by something like five votes). The RINO minority leader at the time (Bob Michel) went along with the 'Rats and had breakfast with the 'Rat "winner" just to show what a nice loser he was.
Well, a nice loser is still a loser.

So is the vote count similar for the two machines? They should be if they come from the same district.
A lot of people watching this. If the rats steal this election, it will be really bad for them. It will give Trump lots of ammo over the Russia thing, and I hope it finally triggers a special counsel to investigate the democrat party as a criminal organization.
