Polls close at 7:30pm ET
agree totally. hopefully McDaniel can beat the new swamprat in November
Yes, that was good.
What was bad was that OhioWan tells me that as late as Trump’s rally, callers to the district were finding that many Republicans STILL didn’t know there was a special election happening on Tuesday!!
A LOT of Rs in Licking & Delaware stayed home (good news for November).
Even CNN admits this.
Rich Baris last night told me that in PA18, Trump got Saccone nearly 6 points and almost pulled him over the line.
I’m sure Balderson’s narrow win was ENTIRELY due to Trump, but I’ll repeat what my source “OhioWan” told me:
He said as late as Trump’s visit, many callers to the district were finding people there STILL were not aware there was an election happening on Tuesday!!
Just remember this, Larry....
.... it was only my complaining on this thread that put us over the top.
Complaints such as “This paint won’t apply smoothly. I don’t like tacos. Biplanes piss me off.”
IT WORKED
LOL.
Do you also sacrifice chickens? Or is that not permitted at CDC?
I was way off on my projection for OH-12
3 min analysis is unreliable
Not good results
The dems are .motivated
They are bad results, but Larry tells us that a little Ohio-based bird (who is in the know) reports that on Get Out The Vote calls, they were finding a lot of Republicans unaware of the Special Election entirely.
So, based on that, it might be that (R)s are motivated and we won't be able to tell until Nov.
No, but GOOD IDEA. :)
When you properly assign “Unaffiliated” as to the party they have voted for since 2000, Rs in OH have a “low turnout” edge over the Ds of about 250,000 and a “high turnout” edge of about 467,000.
A high turnout HELPS the Rs, contrary to popular myth.
Good to know.
oh no!
I love that you have a handle on all this stuff.
Me? I’m good with Big Data.
And the main thing is, we WON, however squeaky it was. :)
Republican primary for governor. Trump endorsed Kobach; Colyer was endorsed by NRA. Kobach won by a handful of votes, but absentee ballots received in the next 3 days have yet to be counted. Colyer, the incumbent, is refusing to concede.
Moore’s ideology ... tremendous.
His charisma ... not great.
need both to win elections.
.
Republicans are always deeply lacking in logic and voting sense.
The massive attacks on Moore should tell everyone he is right over the target.
Moore won the legitimate vote, but the border fraud was massive and quite systematic.
It also appears that many of the fraudsters bussed in voted in more than one precinct.
LOL! Reuters is on it! https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-election/trump-backed-candidates-struggle-to-cross-finish-line-in-ohio-kansas-idUSKBN1KT0U2
