Apple confirmed on Monday that it had removed five out of six podcasts, which includes Jones' infamous The Alex Jones Show.
Facebook has also removed four pages that belong to Jones.
Both companies said Jones violated hate speech policies on their respective platforms.
Apple and Facebook clamped down on content by Alex Jones Monday, with the former pulling five of his podcasts and the latter removing four pages controlled by him.
Apple confirmed on Monday that it had removed five out of six podcasts, which includes Jones' infamous "The Alex Jones Show" as well as a number of other InfoWars audio streams. The news was originally reported by BuzzFeed News.
Jones, a controversial conspiracy theorist who has claimed that the 2012 Sandy Hook school shooting was a hoax, has been hit with other content bans from the likes of Google's YouTube and Spotify.
Apple's move seems slightly more dramatic the company has taken down entire libraries of InfoWars podcasts, rather than a select few episodes.
"Apple does not tolerate hate speech, and we have clear guidelines that creators and developers must follow to ensure we provide a safe environment for all of our users," an Apple spokesperson said in a statement on Monday.
"Podcasts that violate these guidelines are removed from our directory making them no longer searchable or available for download or streaming. We believe in representing a wide range of views, so long as people are respectful to those with differing opinions."
Facebook ban
Later on Monday morning, Facebook announced it was removing four of Jones' pages for persistently uploading content in breach of the social network's content guidelines.

His YT account has now been banned.
Sorry you are just wrong.
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
Do you see “Apple” or “Facebook” or “A private company”?
Amen!!!
They are not a real private company. Which many people still believe.
These companies know this, and thats why they dont ever want to go to court.
Besides from the bad publicity.... Through the process of discovery it would be revealed that Facebook and Google are DARPA projects disguised as private companies.
This is how these companies grew so quick. They are funded by the Department of Defese.
The US feral government/CIA were instrumental in getting Google and Facebook off the ground to serve as spying and propaganda platforms.
So it’s all an Inside Job?
It does not work that way.
Case in point,Washington D.C. bans all guns. Ditto New York City and Chicago. But the 2nd Amendment says they cant do this?
Right but they still do it anyway.
Ping since you were mentioned.
They’re saying on the chans his Spotify has been banned as well. Not sure.
What is this so called, by you, right to hold an opinion? How can Apple cause Alex to not be able to hold an opinion?
There are no laws restricting a private company from discriminating on any basis whatsoever including race and religion. There are laws preventing private companies from practicing some forms oaf discrimination if they are “open” to the public. There are no laws preventing a company from restricting speech on its private property. Even FreeRepublic.com is known to toss people overboard based on their opinions.
Alex has the right to his opinion as does everyone. Alex has a right to express his opinion free from the interference of the US Government. What Alex does not have is a right to be heard or publish a podcast.
Good men and women have not died so Alex can podcast on iTunes. That is an insult to the said deceased.
Sorry you are wrong.
Can you open a private company and discriminate against race, religion or sex?
Answer no you cannot. You will be shut down in heartbeat by the government and they will not care about your first Amendment.
I see. Alex has a right to podcast on iTunes because Al Gore invented the internet when he was in Congress.
They can remove me from facebook and apple anytime they wish.
Dear Lord.
The First Amendment does not address any of those things.
Also, is Jones being discriminated against based on his race, religion or sex?
You might want to actually learn something about the Constitution before spewing crap.
They aren’t private companies if they receive public money.
Unless they are doing it on behest of a government official. Remember the private dinner held by President Obama (and his trusted adviser Valerie Jarrett) on February 17, 2011 in San Francisco where the then-CEO’s of Apple, Cisco Systems, Facebook, Google (before it became Alphabet), Netflix, Oracle Systems, Twitter and Yahoo! were in attendance? If a “gentlemen’s agreement” to censor the right was made during that dinner, then all eight companies I mentioned will be subject to a First Amendment lawsuit because they were doing their censoring on behalf of the US government.
I saw the clip myself. He said Mueller basically raped children, because he let Epstein go, and then pantomimed a gun saying he would "hypothetically" take Mueller out if he met him in the street. He didn't make a death threat. THAT much is a lie. But he should know damn well how anything he says that's even close will be portrayed by the fake media.
Facebook, a Apple and Google are open to the public.
They cannot kick someone out because politically they do not like their race religion or sex, and then say its their first Amendment aright as a private company.
Good men and women died so Americans can have their Rights. Last time I checked Alex was an American from Texas. Its an insult to the deceased for you to say Rights do not apply to all Americans. Only who YOU like.
For the record, if they are allowed to get away with this then its all climate denier websites next and Fox News. You are playing checkers while they are playing chess.
What you are seeing is a purge. This is election meddling and COLLUSION.
It will only intensify unless lawmakers act now to introduce a Digital Bill of Rights and treat social media giants as telecommunications companies who are forbidden by law from discriminating against people and media outlets based on their political opinions.
“We believe in representing a wide range of views, as long as people are respectful to those with differing opinions.” And as long as we don’t have to be respectful to anyone with a differing opinion. Oh, and only if their view does not differ too much from ours. [sarc.]
