Maybe it's John Bolton clutching a gun. Maybe it's Mike Pompeo setting down his binoculars to stare into the distance. Maybe it's the gators.
But a newly unveiled painting meant to depict President Trump and his team navigating the Washington "swamp" has something for everyone.
Utah-based artist Jon McNaughton touched off a social media frenzy as he shared his painting, “Crossing the Swamp,” Tuesday on Twitter. The painting is a riff on the classic “Washington Crossing the Delaware,” only it replaces George Washington's crew with members of the Trump administration.

Most people have heard the internet meme that Sessions was supposedly the "Silent Executioner" back then.
Can you prove that Sessions was really the "Silent Executioner" during that time?

However, this is a lot more fun than trying to understand what the flower in a 15th century painting of some minor royalty’s daughter is supposed to mean.

Sessions’ flashlight is off, not lighting up the darkness. Also, his gun is not at the ready. Pompeo, Bolton and Conway, Trump defenders all, have their guns ready to respond to any attackers.

Sessions just chillin...going for the ride but not helping to shine light on anything or protect anything ...just holding those items that could illuminate or protect if he was willing.
