Meanwhile, Londoners at a massive protest took turns, under the famous “baby Trump” balloon, at bashing another naked Trump balloon while crowds cheered. Bashers stepped away looking lighter, as though they had been dunked in a river by some cult promising inner salvation.
Children have been pepper-sprayed at free speech protests attended by their parents. The elderly have been beaten nearly to death while walking to their cars, which perhaps sported a Trump sticker on the back.

On verbal communication with friends, neighbors and acquaintances, I don’t talk about particular candidates or partisan politics with most of them but do talk about more freedoms, more jobs, lower taxes and other positive things that are happening.
My mom is 94, and only last year got rid of her car with her “Nobama” sticker. We worried a little because she lives in NY state. Luckily, it’s in a generally conservative in western NY, and there were no confrontations directed at her.
Of course, she had no problem marching up to the front doors of houses that had Hillary signs in their yards. She would tell them why Hillary was terrible, and give them information about Hillary that I had sent her. (She told me that she had “blacked out all the bad words”. LOL!)
Wow. I’ve been ghosted and didn’t even know it. Never heard that term with that meaning before.
When Trump runs again in 2020 my plan is to get a ton of Trump/Pence bumper stickers. As I go about my business I will slap them over any democrat/diversity/no nukes bumper stickers. It will warm my heart to know somewhere a liberal will vandalize another liberals car. (PS:I’m in NY)

This has also happened to me, on more than one occasion. I don’t shy away, most of the time, when I am asked for my opinion, and the leftists are intolerant to other opinions. They really do see us as the enemies.

As a senior citizen, who has had to use a cane on occasion for some time, I strongly recommend carrying a walking stick at all times, and studying any of the many schools of stick fighting. In fact, study more than one of them. Unlike the self defense weapons mentioned above, one’s cane is always to hand, instead of having to be reached for and deployed. Moreover, since a cane is an aid for disability before it is a weapon, you don’t have to ‘escalate’ at all, you would just be using what is legally at hand to protect yourself.
We’re friendly with a very liberal couple. It is HARD. We’d have cut ties with them a few years ago, but have been praying for their salvation for a long time. We’re the only born-again Christians they know, so we stay in their lives and help them a lot, hoping to be a good testimony. (They’re older, need help, and have nobody else, really.)
We NEVER discuss politics, but will throw out a humorous dig now and then. I’ll tell the husband that we’re coming to their party with my Rush Limbaugh shirt. Yesterday we all voted early, and joked about canceling each others’ votes.
Anyhow, she has cancer and probably is imminently terminal. It would be nice if she god saved.

The scum bags better be careful, they might get back more than they bargained for. Many Trumpers have the God given ability to defend themselves, ie the second amendment.
The Democrats split the country and started The Civil War that killed hundreds of thousands, founded the KKK, lynched blacks, and attached Civil Rights activists and their Republican supporters, all for the purpose of keeping what they thought they were entitled to.
Then there's the violence in Democrat run cities over petty nonsense.
Not to mention abortion on demand rights, in order to allow for of the entitlement of screwing around without accepting responsibility for the consequences.

Same here - 7 kids, 4 in Canada and 3 here in the US.
As you can guess, all 3 of us ‘Muricans are huge Trump supporters, and used to make it a point to never talk politics with our family north of the border. Still, we’ve been “ghosted” too. Calls/emails not returned, no more Christmas cards, etc.
Apart from Freepers here, I think everyone in Canada absolutely HATES President Trump.
