We’re friendly with a very liberal couple. It is HARD. We’d have cut ties with them a few years ago, but have been praying for their salvation for a long time. We’re the only born-again Christians they know, so we stay in their lives and help them a lot, hoping to be a good testimony. (They’re older, need help, and have nobody else, really.)
We NEVER discuss politics, but will throw out a humorous dig now and then. I’ll tell the husband that we’re coming to their party with my Rush Limbaugh shirt. Yesterday we all voted early, and joked about canceling each others’ votes.
Anyhow, she has cancer and probably is imminently terminal. It would be nice if she god saved.
