The vast majority of Republicans support the way President Trump handled his first summit meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday, according to a new Axios poll.
The poll said 80 percent of Republicans approved of Trumps performance, while only 8 percent of Democrats feel the same way.
The partisan split could be seen in other things the poll measured. For example, 85 percent of Republicans think the investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 elections is more of a distraction, while on the other side, 85 percent of Democrats feel that the possibility of coordination between the two entities is a serious issue.

Another Deep State Democrat/Never Trumper FAIL!!!
Best election, best POTUS, evah!
Trump/Putin Summit II coming up!
Thats all, folks.
Life isnt like a Looney Tunes cartoon closer, but the numbers dont lie.
The fake news medias hysterical attacks on Trump have bombed big time.
Onto the next outrage.
I Love our President. He said NOTHING wrong.
Sometimes I am just floored and confused.
The media and liberals had a tantrum over the press conference with Putin.
I still don’t understand, why was there a meltdown over the press conference?
Why did the liberals go full meltdown mode, and compare the damn press conference to 9/11, Pearl Harbor, Kristallnacht(sp?) in Nazi Germany?????
According to the left, Trump was supposed to stand at the podium and begin a 15 minute long beratement of Putin with him finally having to be carried off the stage in a straitjacket.
That explains Trumps rising popular approval rating and why GOP Trump haters dont try to cross the President too often.
The base is with him and not with them. Period.
I have yet to see a lib be endowed with or accused of excess axonal development.
Why did the liberals go full meltdown mode, and compare the damn press conference to 9/11, Pearl Harbor, Kristallnacht(sp?) in Nazi Germany?????

Because they are more than desperate. They are clinically insane. They are throwing what they perceive to be mud and it ain’t stickin’.
Since everyone gets to vote, what matter most are the overall numbers, which are as follows, regarding Trump’s handling of his summit with Putin:
20% strong approve
20% somewhat approve
15% somewhat disapprove
41% strongly disapprove
That’s 40% approve, 56% disapprove, which is obviously not good, despite how some are trying to spin it.
I take it as proof that communism actually is dead in Russia, what with our domestic rump commies now sounding like McCarthyites and Birchers in full cry, communist-voting former CIA heads actively calling for a coup and the captive media propaganda apparatus breathlessly reporting all of this to agitate the matter to an even higher level of insanity.
Since when is the left so afraid of Russia? When was the watershed moment when did the tide go out on that? They’ve been shilling for Russia and the Soviet Union for a century. But not now, oh boy is it ever wild.
I have yet to see a lib be endowed with or accused of excess axonal development.

I think that means they are crazy stupid. “Stuck on stupid” as that General said. Lol
The GOP elite joined their attacks but it has no real effect on Trumps popularity.
In the 1980s, people used to joke Reagan was the Teflon President and no one had been able to scratch Trump.
None of their attacks upon him are working.
Yet Republicans have done nothing about Paul Ryan as Speaker.
They do not want him to succeed , and they use a made up crisis to divert attention away from Clinton;s FBI’s corruption
The countdown to Putin & Russia being smeared as a nation of White Supremacists has begun.
10, 9, 8....
In about seven-to-ten days.
And 57% are nevertrumpers who strongly disapprove of tax cuts, booming economy, the recovery of manufacturing, lower unemployment, jobs, jobs, jobs, stronger military, stronger borders, and every other good thing this president’s policies have brought us.
