From the Washington Examiner: : “Rosenstein, who is overseeing Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of possible Trump campaign collusion with Russia, did not meet with President Trump, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said in a statement.

Sanders did not identify the officials with whom Rosenstein met during his visit.”

You’re welcome. I’ve learned, sometimes the hard way, that it is much better to consider 2nd and 3rd order consequences to pretty much anything, vs. just reacting in a way that would bring the greatest short-term satisfaction.
