“Airplane!” is one of my all time favorite comedies!’
the film it was based on was just as funny, though not intentionally...Leslie Nielsen was blessed with ability to deliver the most ridiculous lines with the most deadpan of expression...
I know...if you haven’t seen “Airport”, you can’t fully appreciate the beautiful satire of it in “Airplane!”
I loved “Airport” too...especially the little old lady who scammed the airlines!
