President Trump wants to update the paint job on the next version of Air Force One, ditching the iconic robin's-egg blue (which he calls a "Jackie Kennedy color") for a bolder, "more American" look.
The big picture: Trump rarely gets into the weeds of government negotiations. But he sat down in the Oval Office with Boeing CEO Dennis Muilenburg in February to personally hammer out the $4 billion deal for a pair of replacement 747s for use as Air Force One (the call sign for whatever Air Force plane the president is on).

Paint adds a lot of weight and therefore expense...I’m rather partial to the current design even if it is associated with the Kennedys.
That said, I wonder how it would look “wrapped” in parchment with the words of the Constitution writ large all over...
The middle one looks like a cross between a Frontier airliner and a Nike tennis shoe.
The lighter robin’s egg blue looks better against the typical sky than a darkflg blue does. May also have looked better when photographed in black and white for newspapers.

Did not know that. Thanks!
“not the rotten fish eating eagle.”
I live near the Mississippi river in northern Illinois and they are thick as pigeons here. A little of the majestic image is lost when you see one shoulder deep in a rotting pig carcus eating lunch. Watching them catch fish is impressive, but most of the time they’re just a buzzard in a tux.
Yup, America needs a another national animal symbol, rather than the flying gut-pile eagle.
Must have missed that one.
Fixed it for ya! :-)

That’s pretty good.
Then put a neon marquee underneath advertising Trump Tower or Doral...

They should - WWII style - paint some hammer-and-sickle logos near the nose with identifying names under each one: HILLARY, CHUCK, MAXINE, ROBERT, JIM... :)
The Boss wants a new boss look for his Airplane. AirForce One.
That would be fun
