Ron Paul should go away.
Here we go again. Rand Paul mucking things up. But does anyone know if he has a point?
Just when I was starting to like him he turns into his father.
If true they may have to wheel in McCain in his hospital bed. He might do it to flip off Rand. Or, he might vote no to screw Trump. I think it’s going to be a 50-49 vote. Red state D’s were put on notice. Their freaking Senate whip openly called for their defeat if they defect.
Rand Paul is a publicity hound, you have to have some sympathy with his poor neighbor. In the end, he will support the nominee, but he will relish all of the attention that comes in his direction. He is a wingnut.
Rand Paul usually does, but I don’t know the particulars of his objection.
Kavanaugh does seem to favor the Deep State when it comes down to it.
Rand Paul almost always on the side of liberty and the citizens.
Somehow, I doubt that he’s going to want to go back to Kentucky as the one that prevented a conservative majority on the Supreme Court. He’ll whine, cry and grandstand for the cameras...but he’ll vote to confirm in the end.
Omg, I found the only person on the planet who is concerned about this guy besides me! Rand, Im with you. Please question him on these important things. Senator, you get him responding to these issues by your fellows in the confirmation process, I swear Ill mow your lawn all summer!
...Rand Paul almost always on the side of liberty and the citizens...
But, not this time. We must stand united to get the majority. There is no perfect pick. But, he has proved himself well enough for this seat.
Reminds me of the bad old days a few years ago of guys switching parties to tip the majority until another turncoat switched to the first party.
Only fence sitters get pandering attention and gifts and free stuff. Loyal people get zilch.
As the SNL skit used to say: “I hate it when that happens.”
Rand Paul always has to be the turd in the punch bowl. I think he likes that role.
If I had to pick between Rand Paul, or Murcowski and Collins, I’m with Paul.
Ron Paul should go away.
*************
Ron?
He will end up supporting him.
Jay Sekulow from the ACLJ is very pleased with President Trump’s pick and I like Jay so I’m pleased! He has known him for 20 yrs!! Good enough for me! GOOD CHOICE MR PRESIDENT!!
Anyone that thinks Rand Paul is going to sink Brett Kavanaugh's Supreme Court candidacy is loonier than Maxine Waters.
Rand is a guy who annoys more people every day. Eventually, he will end up as a lonely man shouting at the wind.
Paul will come to realize opposing Kavanaugh will be hazardous to his career and will vote for him.
