Here we go again. Rand Paul mucking things up. But does anyone know if he has a point?
Rand Paul usually does, but I don’t know the particulars of his objection.
Kavanaugh does seem to favor the Deep State when it comes down to it.
Rand Paul almost always on the side of liberty and the citizens.
Omg, I found the only person on the planet who is concerned about this guy besides me! Rand, I’m with you. Please question him on these important things. Senator, you get him responding to these issues by your fellows in the confirmation process, I swear I’ll mow your lawn all summer!
Kavanaugh is considered strong on executive privilege. Wrote in one case a president could/should not be tried for criminal conduct while in office. The Constitutional remedy is impeachment and removal, not prosecution.
That’s the issue many of us keep missing - if the law, as written, supports the conclusions that Kavanaugh drew, then he is 100% what we want.
The fact that Rand Paul didn’t care for the conclusion is immaterial, if the conclusion was correct with respect to the constitution and then the law.
