Even though the Fourth of July is seen as a holiday of unity for all Americans, there were still some in the political world who chose to use the holiday to send a partisan message.
In particular, Democratic Senator and potential 2020 candidate Kamala Harris tweeted odd political commentary on Wednesday’s holiday, erroneously claiming that “eight immigrants” signed the Declaration of Independence.
....The point is also strange because America was not an independent nation at the time and therefore had no immigration laws of its own yet. It is safe to say the internet reacted badly to the Democrat Senator’s tweet.

What if she ran for POTUS in 2020? If the GOP brought up her sexual history, the Dems would bring up Stormy, grab ‘em by the you-know-what, etc. Apart from Trump’s accomplishments, her biggest problems would be her ignorance and abrasive personality.
I think what makes this funny is that she seems to consider the word "immigrant," which the left has relentlessly used to replace "alien," as somehow magical.

Her parents emigrated to the USA in 1960 and 1961.
How many years after that were they granted citizenship?
Important question because she was born in 1964 and it seems improbable her parents were naturalized citizens by the date if her birth, as it normally takes some 10 years or more to become a citizen.

Sleeping with Willie Brown got her appointed to fake jobs with nice salaries. Willie Brown was very well known for corruption, dealing out political favors and creating fake jobs for others who did him favors. Kamala got where she is by sleeping around. The left can run her for office, but plenty of people that know her, hate her. Once others get to know her, they’ll hate her too.
