She doesn’t have much of a case history.
I like her because of her 7 kids...says to me she’s an observant orthodox Catholic.
It also leaves open the element of surprise even for us.
Notre Dame hired her and they are not a religious school. They’re pretty liberal.
except her adoptions weren’t American kids
which makes her look like she adopted them for virtue signaling or political purposes, whether or not that is the case
either way, it’s evidence that she will choose non-American over American - she made that choice for incredibly important decisions in her own life - and should be considered unacceptable to us as a result
loyal American conservatives who will uphold the law is what we want here, and if there is ANY question about any of these on those counts, strike them from the list
Hmmm. New information . . . thanks.
one of the most leftist Christian women that I know has 7 kids. Catholic and really committed to catholic leftist teaching. Pro life, in the womb, but a killer leftist outside of it.
Catholics can be unpredictable.
Ok Annie thanks for sharing
my mom had 6 kids and was a rosary carrying, holy water in the house Catholic and was pro choice. So you never know.
I think if Barrett is named to the court, she’ll be another Kennedy or O’Connor. Maybe even another Souter.
Everything I’ve read about People of Praise indicates that, while it is theologically conservative, it’s politics are pretty liberal. It did grow out of the 60s counterculture.
She may restrict abortion, but she’ll probably be a squish on everything else.
Getting top quality talent out of Harvard & Yale law has benefit in choosing a top-notch legal mind who comes out of a midwest school.
She’s the One!
Notre Dame???? Jesuits like Pope Francis?
Ewo of her kids are adopted from Haiti.
Somebody posted on another thread that her kids are adopted from Haiti, sort of leftist “virtue signaling.”
