I heard Levin say that live. It came across like he hated HRC more then he hated Trump. I have not listened to him since.

In this instance, like Captain Obvious, yes, if Hillary won (shivers) she would be setting up a multi generational leftist cabal at SCOTUS. However, we need to watch the real NeverTrumpers like Mitt Romney who will be ‘Vote #1’ if a Pelosi House sends impeachment to the Senate.

During the campaign I was a “never-trumped” person. But once he won the nomination I campaigned for him aggressively. Made thousands of phone calls for GOTV.

I have a different take. Levin had the ear of Ted Cruz. He would be completely on the outside with Trump as the nominee and as President. With Hillary as President and Trump defeated, he would have a much stronger voice within conservative circles than he would with a President Trump.
So I think it was a combination of spite and self-interest, rather than ignorance that made him betray Trump.
