REPORT: POTUS Trump Privately Predicts He Will Appoint 4 Supreme Court Justices – ZINGS SOTOMAYOR

On Wednesday, Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy announced he will be retiring from the bench at the end of July.

Kennedy, 81, has been a noted swing vote on the court with his decisions often determine the deciding vote on a court split 4 to 4 between liberals and conservatives even though he was considered a conservative, having been appointed by President Reagan in 1987.

“That’s wide Latina. Get it right.”

NO! It’s WISE LATRINA! You need to get it right! She’s FOS! She has Type I Diabetes, which has had her absent from the Court for treatment. She will not serve a long term.

“Sotomayor was diagnosed as a child with Type 1 diabetes.” I have a niece who has had Type 1 since she was seven. She’s already experiencing some of the deterioration from it at 50, and she has had the best of care (Her husband is a doctor). Sotomayor is not likely to be the next Ruth Ginsberg.

based upon this week she is due to stroke out. These judges on the left can’t stop exposing the public to their biases.

I agree that would be helpful in November. If she agrees to the terrible treatment she will receive, I say go for it and let the Democrats destroy a woman of great accomplishment and character in front of a TV audience.

We need to reclaim our country. No foreigners

Do you really expect President Trump to nominate a non-citizen?

no women.

Not a fan of female conservatives, I take it?

DC Whispers (dcwhispers.com) has a hint that there might be a LIBERAL SCOTUS judge leaving...

“Of course, D.C. Whispers shared the information of Justice Kennedy’s retirement months earlier (scooping the New York Times no less!) so this wasn’t news to our regular readers.
Just wait until these same DNC employees learn of yet ANOTHER Supreme Court vacancy that is rumored to be in the works.”

IF true, there’s going to be such a weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth on the LIB side, even worse than it was today!

“Do you really expect President Trump to nominate a non-citizen?”

Many enemies have acquired citizenship as an aid to attacking our country. Many first and second generation immigrants have been raised as enemies of our country.

One thing Trump shares with Reagan is a reluctance to credit the perfidy that lurks in a scumbag’s heart. Reagan often extended the benefit of the doubt where it was not merited, and so does Trump.

“Not a fan of female conservatives, I take it?”

That is the viewpoint created across decades by the forces of evil in academia and the media.

I am a huge fan of conservative women. However, Thomas Jefferson was correct: “Were our State a pure democracy...there would yet be excluded from their deliberations...women, who, to prevent depravation of morals and ambiguity of issue, should not mix promiscuously in the public meetings of men. (Letter to Samuel Kercheval)”

If women had not been granted the vote by misguided men, FDR would not have had four terms, JFK would have lost to Nixon, Johnson would never have been VP, Carter would never have been elected, Clinton would never have been elected, and Obama would never have been elected.

The left insists that the only reason to oppose the raising of women to high office is this “sexism” thing they invented, in the same way that sodomy nazis invented the word “homophobia” to disparage and prevent rational thinking on same-sex attraction disorder.

There are many good and sufficient reasons to follow Jefferson’s policy that have nothing to do with dislike of women or “male chauvinism.” (Remember that?)

Men and women are different. They rightly have different roles in the family and in society. Our current system is a grotesque perversion of all—or, at least, most—that is good and decent.

Well, all you have to do is repeal the 19th Amendment.

Um...good luck with that.

“Well, all you have to do is repeal the 19th Amendment.”

That is hardly all that needs to be done. Satan has been very busy.

I’m with you with the no foreignors for sure. No women I’d agree too, at this point we got too many on the court already.

IMHO, big government started with universal sufferage. And, yes, if the 19th amendment came up for a vote it would be thumbs down. What a disaster.

The left will always argue that the Court must be representative of society. So Trump must consider the racial/gender makeup of the Court.

It would be a good idea to replace Kennedy with a black (preparing for Thomas’ retirement), an Asian, Hispanic or another woman (assuming it’s possible to find a reliably conservative Hispanic or female jurist somewhere in this country).

We absolutely must avoid a situation where all the leftists on the Court are either women or else from minority groups while all the conservatives are white males.

Pick someone for their philosophy and track record, ethnicity and sex should have no bearing. Let’s not think in terms of the left, and not care about what they think of the optics. No reason to appease them. Clarence Thomas is as black in the eyes of the left as Trump is. Damn the optics.

What do you think Barry was thinking when he nominated her?

He thought he was nominating Manuel Noriega.
