Crowley won the 2016 general election by 83% to 17%. I would not look on this upset as an opportunity for us to pick up the seat, even against an open socialist.

Are they distinguishing between democratic socialists and democratic communists now?

He represents/represented the craziest parts of Queens and the Bronx. Loads of immigrants and she is in favor of abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Don’t see anyone in the media making it though.

I once voted for Cynthia McKinney in the Democrat primary because she was such a good face to have representing the Democrat party.
Also, at least for now, he is not part of the establishment.

What most political pundits, even the so-called "conservatives" at FOX fail to understand is that political shifts like this send a clear message to local business: We don't want you here. A guy who has maybe only 30 employees and is billing ten million a year may not be a big macher in DC or Hollywood, but we are the types who present a strong base in tax payments and hiring in support of our communities. The sad thing is that in the interest of getting "more free stuff" for their their voters and constituents, politicians invariably have nobody to squeeze, so they squeeze us. The news, I suppose, is that we don't stand for it anymore: pro-business "regimes" make it obvious they want us with benefits and tax-friendly options, our best employees are always eager to move with us, and so... We leave New York and Connecticut. I did so once, but I know maybe 20 stories of guys who just said "I'm out. We're out." And these were people who loved those states, which I never did. I think the same is true for all the firearms manufacturers up there. They just had enough of being pissed on.

Unfortunately, that’s a heavily Democrat district. Crowley’s pretty bad, but this woman’s even worse. Fortunately, I think Crowley is on a couple of the “minor” party lines. If he chooses to continue running, he is on the November ballot.

So I can’t find any information that a Republican will be running against this socialist. Is that true? No republican opponent at all? 14th district.

Democrats are becoming increasingly far leftist.
We have gone from Democrats being called liberal, then called leftist, and now called far leftist.
