Rep. Steve King posted a warning on Twitter Sunday evening that the U.S. is heading toward a second civil war, comparing the present day actions of the anti-Trump resistance to the run-up to the Civil War.
King, an eight-term Congressman from Iowa, keyed off a PJ Media article about leftist protesters shutting down a Portland, Oregon ICE office and taking down the U.S. flag, replacing with an “Refugees Welcome” flag.
“America is heading in the direction of another Harpers Ferry. After that comes Ft. Sumter.”

We need to try to defeat them at the ballot boxes while that option is still open.
I don’t mean just Democrats either, Bush League Republicans, too.
The huge difference is geography. The North vs. the South had semi-clear definition of lines. This is a faux, paid for, main stream media hype movement to give the APPEARANCE of a real movement. The vast majority of the people on the street aren’t buying it and will dig their heels in this November at the ballot box even more so than November 2016.
That’s why these leftards wanted guns out of the way because they KNOW we will wipe them out.

The Left has stepped over the line several times. Just barely over the line, but still over the line, in seemingly isolated incidents. One of those incidents was at the baseball field. But now we have people publicly calling for violence, from Hollywood, from political figures (I’m talking about you, Maxine Waters), from academia. It’s not if, it’s when it will finally blow up.
The violence at Charlottesville was started by the leftists, which the police facilitated by channeling the Confederate Monument supporters directly into the heart of the leftist mob, instead of separating them and allowing the monument folks to exit in the other direction.
The inner cities will suffer the first and foremost in any kind of Democrat insurgency.
just simply stating a fact.
I hope urban area folks understand that. I doubt very many do.
In fact, I’m fairly certain that very, very few do.
if the left keeps the borders open, it’s almost unavoidable. the mass invasion of illegals is the one weapon the left has that we cannot mitigate by individual actions. we will have to fight a war beyond a certain point, or simply surrender.
btw, Steve King is one of a handful of trustworthy politicians left in office today. he should be speaker.
