Stephanie Wilkinson was at home Friday evening — nearly 200 miles from the White House — when the choice presented itself.
Her phone rang about 8 p.m. It was the chef at the Red Hen, the tiny farm-to-table restaurant that she co-owned just off Main Street in Lexington, Va.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders had just walked in and sat down, the chef informed her.
“He said the staff is a little concerned. What should we do?” Wilkinson told The Washington Post. “I said I’d be down to see if it’s true.”
It seemed unlikely to her that President Trump’s press secretary should be dining at a 26-seat restaurant in rural Virginia. But then, it was unlikely that her entire staff would have misidentified Sanders, who had arrived last to a table of eight booked under her husband’s name.
As she made the short drive to the Red Hen, Wilkinson knew only this:
She knew Lexington, population 7,000, had voted overwhelmingly against Trump in a county that voted overwhelmingly for him. She knew the community was deeply divided over such issues as Confederate flags. She knew, she said, that her restaurant and its half-dozen servers and cooks had managed to stay in business for 10 years by keeping politics off the menu.
And she knew — she believed — that Sarah Huckabee Sanders worked in the service of an “inhumane and unethical” administration. That she publicly defended the president’s cruelest policies, and that that could not stand.
“I’m not a huge fan of confrontation,” Wilkinson said. “I have a business, and I want the business to thrive. This feels like the moment in our democracy when people have to make uncomfortable actions and decisions to uphold their morals.”

Now, with the so-called "Progressive" politicians and the hate cults they attract, we have Progressive business owners in America looking right through the color of a person's skin and into their conscience (that's Progressivism gone wild) and denying service because of their political beliefs or their political associates! How disgusting and anti-freedom is that?

Another article about the restaurant says they buy fresh from a farm owned by “Mexican immigrants”.
I’d settle for her putting a big sign out front saying Trump supporters aren’t welcome.
There’s no difference.
Would she kick Hillary out because of Bill or Hillary’s morals - Heck No. Proof it was Political.
She’ll issue a non-apology apology once sales go into the crapper. Followed by being forced to sell her business due to losses.

There is another course of action - you take your staff outside or in the kitchen and ask, is there anyone who, because of politics feels they cannot provide these customers with the quality of food and service we aspire to?

Time to schedule people to sit in front of this restaurant and take pictures and post them all over social media.
Pictures of haters who patronize this restaurant that is owned by haters.
And if their names and places of work are known, all the better.

Who sells food or supplies to this restaurant? Maybe some Trump supporters among them ... so perhaps they should cut them off also.

They want to play this game? Sure. Let’s go. The guy at the food store should refuse to ring up this creature’s groceries. No one should fix her car. Got in an accident? Oops. Sorry. Our medics don’t serve YOUR type. Need a taxi? Walk.
And if all that seems a bit extreme... well, it is. But I’m sick of sitting back while the left gets to play these childish little games, day in and day out and we’re just supposed to just sit back and go “oh, okay. Sorry to make you unhappy.”
Ms. Wilkinson, because of your fake moral outrage mixed in with your stupidity I give your little eatery less than 6 months to close the doors forever. I will pray for that very thing to happen. Enough of this leftist crap!!!

Bully for her and her “convictions”. It’s probably not going to be hard for libs to keep teeing-up for her 26 tables to keep her in business, but that doesn’t make her right.
Note that Sanders has not demanded the government step in and force the restaurant to serve her, or called in lawyers. It sucks, but if you believe bakery owners have the right to not bake cakes for fags, you also have to believe in the right of this owner to refuse service to SHS.
Anything else is hypocrisy.
