California gets on correct.
Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

This is probably the only sane thing that California has done in decades. I support the idea of the entire country adopting Daylight Saving time all year and adopting it as the National Standard time.

But if this happens, then California is out of step with the rest of the country.

It is more important and urgent that we vote in a new governor.
And as much as I hate the time change of having shorter days, what other way will we have to indicate that it’s winter?
To: BenLurkin
This is so stupid. Why not set the clock ahead a day, a month, a year? Think of the health benefits.

Finally got something right going for them. I hate DST esp. when some states use it and some don’t.

Not to be a grammar Nazi, but does anyone with an education review copy anymore. Writers seem to no longer know how to use the words biannual and semiannual correctly.

Californians would be asked in a November ballot measure whether to end the biannual practice of moving their clocks ahead and back to comply with the Daylight Saving Time Act, under a bill the Assembly approved Thursday and sent to Gov. Jerry Brown for consideration. Thanks to Jerry Brown's outstanding leadership CA now has no economic, criminal, or social problems they now have time to deal with the really important stuff.

California should adopt metric time and a metric calendar with 10 days to the week like the French did in the Reign of Terror.

Why not just keep the welfare and voter registration offices open an hour later, so the illegal aliens aren’t inconvenienced?

Stupid Indiana caved to DST years ago. At least we still have our own time zone on computers.
