It's FEDERAL LAW.
But, that's too inconvenient for the media to point out.

This highlights a real threat in the age where our govt and military use COTS (commercial off the shelf) solutions to save taxpayer money. Historically we worry about reliance on foreign companies or parts. If our agencies and military have to be concerned about service cancellation from US companies that go all SJW, then we will be forced to go back to spending way more money on government developed and owned solutions.

The letter, signed simply “Microsoft employees,” listed several demands:
Yes they are
Trying to paint the law and LEOs as the enemy
Death to them politically
Obviously these Microsoft protestors have the moral high ground. Microsoft not only supports various government agencies such as the military war machine, ICE and US Customs. Many state and local police departments are assisted with various software products used to oppress the people. It is my understanding the Trump and his family and criminal regime are users of Microsoft products. It is your duty to quit your jobs as a protest for social justice.
They are feeling their oats.
They think it is Vietnam dejavu all over again.
What we need is a Kent state or three
