Columnist and political commentator Charles Krauthammer, who announced earlier this month that he was losing his battle against cancer, died on Thursday. He was 68 years old.

RIP Charles.
Memory eternal!
By this time, The Fox News Special Report devoted most all of the hour to tribute to Charles.
For me it was most informative. I learned that for the most part he was paralyzed from the neck down. He typed his writing with a pencil, one key at a time. Cancer killed him
May he rest in peace, and may the Lord bless and comfort his family in their loss.
Are we going to have a memorial for that great republican “maverick” John McCain too? Gimme a break.
A great intellectual. He will be missed.
No disrespect - but, sheesh, you’d think there’s no other news worth reporting today if you’re watching Fox News.
We have lost a mental giant, and a truly great man.
Interesting that Charles died after the White House Correspondents’ Dinner fell apart completely. Was he there at the last one? Probably could not make it, but he didn’t miss much.
I mourn his passing. Sometimes his sayings were rather irrational or misguided. I have done the same. Mostly they were good. When he spoke it was with conviction of heart and not political bias.
He did not lie nor repeat lies. Sometimes he was wrong but mostly right.
I will miss Charles Krauthammer. He was a good man of conviction. That is a rare commodity today.
Gods speed Charles and may you “once again walk” at the side of our lord. You have earned it.
Sad he died an atheist.
RIP
This is a stunning loss. We knew, absent a miracle, it was coming but the loss is still stunning.
There is no one else, that I’m aware, that comes close to having his devastating delivery of cogent thought.
R.I.P Mr. Krauthammer. You will be missed.
“Sad he died an atheist.”
That was my opinion until I read some of the articles. He rejected atheism.
He was Jewish.
(That would be David Frum. Or David Brooks. Or Adam Gopnik. Or Ali Velshi. ... Wait ... I know ... Samantha Bee)
To whom it may concern: My Kraftwerk/Rammstein tribute band -- KRÄUTHÄMMÄR -- is now also a Charles Krauthammer tribute band.
Smart man. Just sorry to see him go. RIP
Had occasion to correspond with Charles in 2000 when he was on the President’s Council for Bioethics. Truly, he was a man with heart for the alive unborn. He will not be replaceable. Charles Krauthammer was a man in full.
Conservative columnist Charles Krauthammer told The Daily Caller in a recent interview that he doesnt believe in God in the traditional sense. But while he doesnt describe himself as an atheist, the popular commentator said that he has a complicated notion of the deity.
There was once a philosopher who said, I dont believe in God, but I fear him greatly. Thats about where I am, he told the outlet. Ive had a fairly difficult and complicated notion of the deity.
Krauthammer added that Albert Einsteins concept of God most resonates with him.
He said that Einsteins idea was a recognition and an awe before the mystery of the order and beauty of the universe, which would imply that there is something very mysterious and very awesome awe-inspiring about the universe.
Krauthammer was nothing like McCain.
But it shows how LIMITED you are.
And no, I won’t post on a McCain memorial. You’re just a grumpy person.
